- Ski lesson booking was even more complex. Some resorts were easy (just checking the ESF website), but others, like Serre Chevalier, required finding the exact village to get accurate pricing.

Located in Italy’s Via Lattea, or ‘Milky Way’ ski area, this resort offers the lowest Club Med holiday cost among those we reviewed, with a 7-night holiday for two starting from around £3,672. It offers access to 400km of ski slopes and well as a highest number of dining options of all Club Med’s European ski resorts.
While some comparable independent ski packages can be booked for less, Pragelato Sestriere still represents excellent value when you factor in everything that’s included in a Club Med holiday, from lift passes and ski lessons to meals, drinks, entertainment and activities throughout your stay.
Best value Club Med Resort for luxury
The best value resort for those looking for luxury is Club Med Val d’Isère, Club Med’s flagship premium ski resort. For a 7-night holiday, you can expect to pay around £4,673 for two people, compared to approximately £4,962 for a similar ski package, representing a saving of around £289 (6%).
While the financial saving is modest compared to some other resorts, the Club Med package includes lift passes, ski lessons, lunches, drinks and après-ski entertainment. You also benefit from the convenience of having everything organised in one package, helping you avoid the additional costs that can quickly add up on an independent ski holiday.
Best Club Med Resort for savings
Club Med Saint-Moritz Roi Soleil offers the biggest saving compared to a comparable ski holiday. A 7-night holiday costs around £4,331 for two people, while a similar ski package would cost approximately £7,546, resulting in a saving of £3,215, or 74%.
One of the main reasons for this significant saving is the inclusion of lift passes and ski lessons, both of which can be expensive additions when booking independently. Club Med also includes accommodation, meals, drinks, entertainment and activities, making it easier to budget for your holiday.
During our research, we found that six of the Club Med resorts were more expensive than the comparable ski packages used in our analysis. However, this does not necessarily mean they offer poorer value. Club Med’s all-inclusive package includes many elements that are often charged separately elsewhere, including lift passes, ski lessons, meals, drinks and entertainment, which should always be considered when comparing overall value.
A holiday to Club Med Serre Chevalier for instance, came in at £1,045 more expensive than a comparable ski package. However, while the alternative holiday may appear cheaper at first glance, it does not include the same range of inclusions that come as standard with Club Med. Guests at Club Med benefit from a 6-day ski pass, group ski lessons, daily lunches, an open bar, entertainment and activities throughout their stay, all included within the holiday price. Families should also consider the value of Club Med’s included kids’ clubs, which can represent a significant saving compared to arranging childcare independently, especially as they also include ski tuition.
How to get the Best Deal on a Club Med Ski Holiday
- Book early
Booking your Club Med Ski holiday early means you get the best choice of rooms, which can help keep the cost of your holiday down. The closer you get to your desired departure date, the lower the room availability may be, with only the more expensive rooms available.
- Travel outside of peak times
As with other holidays, ski holidays tend to be cheaper outside of peak times such as Christmas and February Half Term. Travelling in late November, early December, March, and April may offer you a better price. If you are looking to travel during these periods, you should consider heading to a high-altitude resort to guarantee good ski conditions.
