More than two million Brits travelled to Turkey in 2019, making it one of the most popular destinations for British holidaymakers, and it’s not hard to see why!
From 2 March 2020, British nationals travelling to Turkey for tourist or business purposes will no longer need a visa for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. This means it is now easier than ever to plan your next visit to Turkey.
If you’re travelling before 2 March you will still need a visa, except for some cruise ship passengers arriving at sea ports for visits of up to 72 hours. The Turkish government also advise that your passport should be valid for at least six months from the date you enter Turkey and that there is a full blank page for the entry and exit stamps.
