What’s new for Club Med for 2025 & beyond?
Club Med is enhancing its resorts to elevate the holiday experience for their customers, with modern amenities and a focus on sustainability. These upgrades include reimagined dining, upgraded accommodations, and new wellness facilities, all designed to create the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in stunning locations.
Here is an updated list of all of the Club Med’s resorts which are currently undergoing renovation or extension:
December 2024:
Club Med is enhancing the resort’s ‘Family Oasis’ section, which includes an oceanfront family pool and bar area, by adding a new baby-friendly zone to accommodate guests of all ages. Additionally, Club Med Cancun will unveil two new waterparks, Splash Park and Water Park, on December 13, 2024, described by Club Med as: a vibrant oasis inspired by Mexico’s natural wonders and tailored to different age groups. Other renovations will feature a new main pool overlooking the lagoon, updates to Deluxe rooms in building 4000, and the introduction of a new beach bar.
New for 2024, the resort is gearing up for its final phase of renovations, which is expected to be completed by All Saints’ Day. One of the most notable changes is the Spa, which is currently closed for renovations; it will unveil a complete makeover and is scheduled to reopen in November 2024, promising an upgraded experience for guests seeking relaxation and rejuvenation. In addition to the Spa, the resort will renovate the remaining 78 existing rooms, ensuring that all accommodations meet modern standards of comfort and style. There will also be final updates made to the restaurant, enhancing the dining experience for visitors.
Complete transformation into a Premium Resort for Winter 25.
The resort has undergone a comprehensive transformation that includes the complete renovation of the main restaurant, the introduction of a Gourmet Club, and an overhaul of the bar. In addition, all 350 existing rooms will be updated, with the creation of 186 new connecting rooms to enhance guest convenience. The reception lobby was redesigned to provide a more welcoming atmosphere, while the ski room has been transformed to improve functionality. A brand new spa has opened, further elevating the guest experience and offering a range of relaxation options.

The resort is set to undergo a transformation that includes the reorganization of 340 rooms, ultimately resulting in a final total of 306 rooms. Additionally, a new Family Oasis will be created, featuring newly designed family rooms, a dedicated children’s pool, and engaging water games to enhance the experience for families.
Renovations planned for Summer 2025:
The hotel will also be renovating several common areas to enhance guest experience. This includes updates to the reception, the Spa, and the main restaurant and bar, as well as the pool bar. Additionally, a new Fitness Palapa will be introduced, providing a refreshing space for guests to stay active during their stay.

Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari
Location: Introducing the first Club Med Resort in South Africa, a premier destination that seamlessly blends luxury with adventure, offering guests a unique experience in one of the world’s most diverse landscapes.
Positioning: This resort will be designed as a premium getaway, featuring an Exclusive Collection area for guests seeking elevated services and amenities. Access: The resort is going to be conveniently located just 30 minutes from King Shaka International Airport, providing easy access for international travellers. Beach Resort: Spanning an expansive 32 hectares, the resort offers direct access to a long, unspoiled beach, perfect for sunbathing, water sports, and leisurely strolls along the shore. The pristine surroundings ensure guests can relax and rejuvenate in a stunning natural environment.
Safari Lodge: Situated within the Magudu Reserve, renowned for being home to the Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros), the Safari Lodge is a mere three-hour journey from the resort. Club Med launches a new construction project in Brazil, in the state of Rio Grande do Sol.
The upcoming resort will become the fourth addition to the existing portfolio of Club Med resorts in Brazil, joining the three notable locations: Lake Paradise, Trancoso, and Rio Das Pedras. Each of these resorts offers its unique charm and attractions, enhancing the Club Med experience for guests. With the new resort set to begin operations, construction is currently underway, and it is anticipated to be completed by 2025. This expansion reflects Club Med’s commitment to providing diverse vacation experiences in beautiful destinations.
