Day 1: Arrive in Cairo, Egypt
Touch down in Cairo, where your A&K representative welcomes you and will take you to your historic hotel, perfectly located near the last surviving Ancient Wonder of the World – the majestic Great Pyramid of Giza.

Day 2: Cairo
This morning, tour the Egyptian Museum with your A&K Egyptologist, then explore newly unveiled galleries at the Grand Egyptian Museum, showcasing 15,000 artifacts. Enjoy a welcome dinner in the Evening.

Day 3: The Pyramids of Giza
Explore the Giza Plateau today, home to the pyramids of Mycerinus, Chephren, and the Great Pyramid. Enter one of these ancient wonders and admire their massive stonework. Then, embark on a visit to the Great Sphinx, set against the iconic pyramids.

Day 4: Luxor – Temples of Luxor & Karnak
Fly to Luxor to discover the stunning Temple of Luxor, home to towering statues and grand columns. After this, board the elegant Sanctuary Sun Boat IV for lunch before visiting Karnak, where generations of pharaohs left their mark. Stroll through the awe-inspiring Great Hypostyle Hall, with its soaring 80-foot columns.
Day 5: Cruising the Nile – Valley of the Kings & Queens
Explore the west bank of the Nile, visiting the Colossi of Memnon, Queen Nefertari’s tomb, and Hatshepsut’s Temple. In the Valley of the Kings, enter the tombs of Tutankhamun and Seti I.
Day 6: Cruising the Nile – Temple of Horus & Kom Ombo
Visit Edfu’s well-preserved Temple of Horus, offering insight into ancient worship. Back on board, join a Chef’s Table cooking lesson before enjoying a Scenic Sundowner. Later, explore Kom Ombo’s Greco-Roman temple and see mummified crocodiles.
Day 7: Aswan – Majestic Philae
Visit Aswan’s ancient granite quarries to see the towering Unfinished Obelisk. Then, cruise to Philae Temple, a sacred site displaying strong Egyptian, Greek, and Roman influences. Later, sail around the Aswan Islands on a traditional felucca.
Day 8: Abu Simbel – Temples of Ramses II & Nefertari
Disembark Sanctuary Sun Boat IV and fly to Abu Simbel to explore the towering temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, famously relocated to escape rising waters. Return to Cairo for a leisurely evening, and check in to your new hotel.

Day 9: Cairo – Design Your Day
Visit Sakkara to explore ancient tombs and the Step Pyramid of Djoser. After lunch, choose your experience:
This evening, gather for a farewell dinner to reflect on your journey.

Transfer back to the airport ahead of the return flight.
