Blending ancient sights with relaxed river travel, this escorted journey reveals Egypt at its most captivating. Explore iconic temples, discover well-preserved tombs and visit the Grand Egyptian Museum before sailing the Nile aboard a traditional dahabiya. Smaller and more intimate than larger ships, it offers a quieter, more personal experience, reaching peaceful stretches of river, remote temples and authentic riverside villages.
Day 1: UK – Cairo
Titan’s nationwide shared chauffeur service will collect you from your home for your flight to Cairo. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo
Enjoy a full day of explorations, beginning at the brand new Grand Egyptian Museum. Here you’ll find thousands of artifacts showcasing the history of Egypt, including treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun. Later on, continue to Giza where you’ll explore the plateau in comfort with VIP golf cart access and lounge facilities.

Day 3: Cairo
Today is at leisure to spend relaxing in the hotel or perhaps exploring the city independently.

Day 4: Cairo – Luxor
In the morning, take a flight to Luxor. On arrival, set out for the East Bank, home to the vast temple complex of Karnak and the Luxor Temple. After some time to admire both, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 5: Luxor
Head north along the Nile Valley to reach the Dendera Temple Complex, dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Spend some time admiring its vivid colours and intricate carvings, including the famous Zodiac ceiling.

Day 6: Luxor
Cross over to the West Bank to explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, home to many tombs including Tutankhamun’s. Continue to Medinet Habu and the Tombs of the Nobles before having lunch at the historic Marsam Hotel, once a gathering place for archaeologists and Egyptologists.

Day 7: Esna – Edfu
Take a short drive to Esna where you’ll board your dahabiya, the Queen of Egypt. Relax onboard as you sail to Edfu, where you’ll head ashore to explore its temple.

Day 8: El Ramadi – Gebel Selsela – Fares Island
Sail south to El Ramadi before enjoying lunch on the banks of the Nile. From here, head to Gebel el-Silsila, once one of ancient Egypt’s primary sandstone quarries. Visit the riverside temple here before sailing to Fares Island

Day 9: Fares Island – Kom Ombo – Herbyab Island
In the morning, sail to the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique temple dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Horus. After some time to explore, sailing to Herbyab Island

Day 10: Herbyab Island – Aswan
Visit Herbyab Island, a relax riverside city that is regarded as one of the Nile’s most beautiful settings. In the afternoon, visit Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis and relocated due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam which you can admire on a visit later in the day.

Day 11: Aswan
Enjoy a day of leisure onboard the dahabiya or explore independently. Alternative, join an optional excursions to the Abu Simbel Temples, constructed during the reign of Ramses II, relocated to save them from the waters of Lake Nasser in the 1960s.

Day 12: Aswan – Cairo – UK
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK. On arrival, Titan’s shared chauffeur service will be waiting to take you home.
