Day 1: Fly to Nairobi
Fly to Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. On arrival, transfer to your hotel
Day 2: Travel to Amboseli
After breakfast, travel to Amboseli National Park. In the afternoon, take a game drive to explore the vast plains, with the chance to see elephants and many other animals, all while admiring Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Return to the camp as the sun is setting.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park
This morning, enjoy another day of exploring the National Park for the chance to observe the wildlife in their natural habitat.

Day 4: Arusha
Following an early breakfast, head over the border into Tanzania to reach Arusha. The afternoon is at leisure to relax or explore independently.

Day 5: Visit tribal communities
Head towards Lake Eyasi to visit two tribal villages. The first if of the Hadzabe people, a hunter-gather tribe. Join them on a guided walk to learn about their way of life. Continue to a Datoga village and meet the blacksmiths who craft jewellery and arrowheads.

Day 6: Safari in Ngorongoro
Venture into the Ngorongoro Crater to visit the Conservation Area where you’ll take a game drive before heading onto the Serengeti

Day 7: Explore the Serengeti
Enjoy a full day of adventure, taking a game drive deep into the national park in search of wildlife. After pausing for a picnic lunch, head into more remote areas on the lookout for lions, giraffes, cheetah, leopards and more.

Day 8: Journey to the Maasai Mara
Following breakfast, head back into Kenya and into the lush green Maasai Mara National Reserve

Day 9: Maasai Mara
Spend a whole day out in the reserve. You’ll take a game drives to see the wildlife as well as a visit to a Maasai tribe during which you’ll meet the chief and take a tour of the village.

Day 10: Great Rift Valley
Enjoy a morning game drive before departing for the Great Rift Valley, enjoying scenic views along the way. Arrive in the Lake Naivasha region and check into your accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure

Day 11: Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, take a boat ride on the lake for the opportunity to spot hippos and an array of exotic birds. Visit Crescent Island where you’ll take a walking safari to see antelopes, fish eagles, hippos and monkeys. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive. The park has over 400 species of birds, as well as being home to endangered rhinos and Rothchild’s giraffes.

Day 12: Travel to Nairobi
Travel back to Nairobi. On arrival, visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a sanctuary for orphaned elephants. Then, visit the Giraffe Center in the heart of the Ngong Hills, dedicated to the conservation of the endangered Rothschild Giraffes. Finally, visit the Karen Blixen Museum before checking into your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Days 13-14: Depart Nairobi
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home, arriving the next day

In Tanzania, visit the Hadzabe, one of the world’s last hunter-gatherer tribes. Join them out in the bush to practice hunting techniques and gather berries to gain a glimpse at an age-old way of life

This tour has a physical rating of 2. A reasonable level of fitness is required, as you’ll be spending time on your feet and doing a bit of walking to cover short distances during your daily sightseeing. There will also be some climbing of steps and climbing on and off of coaches and boats.
