Discover Namibia’s raw and untamed beauty on this in-depth journey. Begin in Windhoek, the German-influenced capital, before traveling to coastal Swakopmund by way of the Namib—a surreal desert of vast dunes, ancient skeletal trees, and lunar-like vistas. Continue north into the rugged mountains and sweeping savannas of Damaraland, then onward to Etosha National Park, where a shimmering salt pan draws remarkable concentrations of wildlife. Along the way, encounter desert-adapted species and gain insight into the cultural traditions that shape Namibia’s identity.
Day 1: Fly to Windhoek

Day 2: Windhoek
Arrive in the capital today, taking an orientation tour on arrival. You’ll pass the Alte Feste – a German colonial-building and the gothic Christuskirche. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner in a local restaurant

Day 3: Kalahari
Take a morning drive to the dunes and grasslands of the Kalahari. In the afternoon, enjoy a nature drive before settling down for some drinks at sun set.

Day 4: Namib Desert
Today, join local San bushmen for a walk, during which they’ll show you how hunter-gathers survive in these harsh environments. Then, take a five-hour drive to the Namib Desert.

Day 5: Sossusvlei
Make an early start as you head to Sossusvlei by 4×4. Visit the giant dunes and the Dedvlei clay pan before returning to your lodge via the Sesriem Canyon. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

Day 6: Swakopmund
Drive to the coastal town of Swakopmund, visiting the Namib-Naukluft Park to see its ‘Moon Landscape’ along the way.

Board a catamaran this morning for a cruise in Walvis Bay. Keep an eye our for seal, penguins, dolphins and whales. This afternoon is free to spend as you wish.

Day 8: Damaraland
Travel along the Skeleton Coast, with stops to see a shipwreck and a seal colony. Continue inland, passing Brandberg Mountain and the Petrified Forest to reach Damaraland.

Day 9: Twyfelfontein – Damaraland
Head out on a morning game drive in search of Damaraland’s unique desert-adapted elephants. Along the way you might also spot mountain zebras, giraffes, oryz, springbok or kudu. In the afternoon, see the pre-historic rock at Twyfelfontein and the Damara Living Museum

Day 10: Etosha National Park
Head to Etosha, where you’ll stay in a lodge near the national park entrance. If time allows, take an afternoon safari drive.

Enjoy safari drives in the park, home to some of the largest elephants in Africa, as well as rare black rhinos.

Day 12: Otjiwarongo
This morning, visit a local Himba village to learn about their traditions and culture. Then head south towards Otjiwarongo, Take a sunset safari drive and an optional night drive.

Day 13: Windhoek
Head out on an exciting rhino-tracking activity before travelling to Windhoek. Here you’ll visit a non-profit community project that trains and supports marginalised woman and sample local cuisine.

Day 14: Fly overnight via Addis Ababa
Transfer to the airport for your flight home, flying home via Addis Ababa.
