Oceana
The resort’s main restaurant, Oceana has five areas, an ocean facing terrace and its own wine cellar. Here you can enjoy a variety of cuisines for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Nguni
Open for late breakfast and lunch, as well as dinner by reservation, Nguni is the resort’s gourmet restaurant. Look forward to enjoying surf-and-turf style cuisine, created using local quality ingredients

Injabulo
This welcoming, family friendly bar is the main bar in resort and offers a wide selection of drinks, which you can enjoy on the terrace overlooking the ocean.

Dunes
Perfectly located on the beach, head here between activities for a light snack as well as refreshing drinks

Nguni
This relaxing bar offers you the chance to sample some of the Cape region’s famous wines.

Pool Bar
This bar can be found near the family pool and offers snacks and refreshing drinks to enjoy.

Coffee Shop
Head here for a selection of coffee and teas, both hot and iced, complimented by a selection of pastries and savoury snacks.

Extend your journey with a stay at Vikela Safari Lodge, welcoming guests aged 4 and up and located just 4.5 hours from the South Africa Beach and Safari Resort. Tucked away in the heart of a sprawling private reserve and exclusively available to Club Med guests, this secluded retreat offers a truly immersive encounter with the wild soul of South Africa.

This lodge is only available to book for 2-3 nights in combination with a stay in the Club Med South Africa Beach Resort. Ground transfers from Durban International Airport or the Resort are included.

Childcare at Vikela Safari Lodge

The Lodge offers two kids clubs: Mini Lodge for those aged 4-10 years & Teens Lodge for aged 11-17 years. These offer dedicated areas, a pool and family activities including wildlife watching, dance workshops and arts & crafts workshops.

Accommodation at Vikela Safari Lodge
The Lodge offers both an adult and family accommodation area. In the adult area, you’ll find deluxe tents with space for 2 adults with its own terrace.

In the family area, you’ll find family tented rooms, which can sleep 4 people. There are 4 different set ups for these, including side-by-side rooms, connected by a terrace or adjacent rooms that are not connected but close together.

Dining at Vikela Safari Lodge
There are two restaurants at the Lodge. The main buffet restaurant, iNiathy, is open for all three meals of the day and offers both international and local cuisine. The speciality restaurant, Boma, offers barbecues and grilled dishes around a roaring fire.

iNgwe is the only bar at the Lodge and sits at the heart of the resort. It offers everything from cocktails and beers to soft drinks and smoothies.
