Day 1: Flight to Cape Town
Head to the airport for your overnight flight to Cape Town

Day 2: Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town, and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to begin exploring.

Day 3: Cape Town
Head out on a tour of the city this morning before getting the chance to take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting).

Day 4: Cape Town
Enjoy a day at leisure in Cape Town or take an optional tour to either the Cape Point peninsula ro the Winelands

Day 5: Arniston
Travel east today, stopping briefly at Hermanus. Enjoy some free time here, perhaps having the chance to spot some whales before continuing on to Ariston, a charming fishing village.

Day 6:  Knysna
Today you’ll arrive in the town of Knysna, along the Garden Route. This town is famous for its blue lagoon and you’re free to explore at your own pace.

Day 7: Knysna
This morning, sail across the Knysna Lagoon to reach the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Explore the natural reserve, stopping at viewpoints and learning about the region’s history from a specialist guide.  There is also an optional guided walk through the coastal forest available. Later in the day, return to Knysna.

Day 8: To Pretoria
Transfer to the nearby town of George to take a flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, transfer to Pretoria and check into your hotel.

Day 9: Rovos Rail
Spend the morning relaxing or exploring Pretoria before heading to the Rovos Rail Station to board the Pride of Africa to begin your journey to Victoria Falls.

Days 10-11: Matobo National Park
Spend a day at leisure as the train cross the Limpopo River into Zimbabwe, enjoying the scenery. The next day, head out on a visit to Matobo National Park, where you’ll see fascinating caves covered in bush art. You’ll then visit the grave of Cecil Rhodes.

Day 12: Hwange National Park
This afternoon, arrive in Hwange National Park where you’ll take a game drive.

Day 13: Chobe National Park
Disembark the Pride of Africa in the town of Victoria Falls, before travelling across the border into Botswana and Chobe National Park. Upon arrival, there are optional activities available such as a sunset cruise or game drive.

Day 14: Chobe National Park
Begin the morning with a game drive before heading out on a sunset cruise this afternoon. During the cruise, you’ll get the chance to spot the wildlife that comes down to the river at sundown.

Day 15: Victoria Falls
Travel back in Zimbabwe today and arrive in the town of Victoria Falls. In the afternoon, enjoy a cruise on the mighty Zambezi River

Day 16: Victoria Falls
In the afternoon, learn about David Livingstone with a talk by a local expert before visiting the breath-taking Victoria Falls themselves.

Day 17: Return home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
