Throughout your cruise, when your ship comes into port, there will be a range of excursions available to help you explore each destination. These excursions are at your own expense and are bookable on your cruise reservation
Days 1-2: Arrive in Mauritius
Take an overnight flight to Mauritius. On arrival, transfer to your hotel before having the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Explore Mauritius
Enjoy a private tour of the southwest corner of the island. Starting at Trou aux Cerfs, you’ll get to stroll along the volcano’s crater before visiting the shores of Grand Bassin to learn about the island’s Hindu culture. Then, drive through the Black River Gorges National Park, where you’ll stop to see Alexandra Falls. The final stop of the day is at the spectacular Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth Geopark.

Day 4: Mauritius at leisure
Spend the day relaxing at the hotel or exploring the local area.

Day 5: Board Norwegian Sun
After breakfast, transfer to Port Louis to board the Norwegian Sun. The rest of the day is free to start exploring the ship.

Day 6: Cruise – Pointe Des Galets*
Today, the ship arrives at Reunion. Here you can disembark at Pointe des Galets to explore Piton de la Fournaise, go hiking or relax on the beach.

Day 7: Cruise – At Sea
Spend the day enjoying the amenities on board as the ship cruises across the Indian Ocean

Day 8: Cruise – Antsiranana*
The ship call at the port city of Antsiranana on Madagascar’s northern tip. You can explore the city or head to the beaches or wildlife filled forests beyond.

Day 9: Cruise – Nosy-Be
Arrive at Nosy-be, an island just off the coast of Madagascar. Here you can choose to visit the Lokobe Reserve to see lemurs and chameleons or visit a plantation to learn about the production of ylang-ylang.

Days 10-12: Cruise – At Sea
Spend the next three days onboard, making the most of the onboard facilities and activities.

Days 13-14: Cruise – Port Elizabeth*
Today, you’ll dock in Port Elizabeth for 2 days, giving you plenty of time to explore the area, whether you want to relax on the beach or visit a nearby wildlife reserve

Day 15: Cruise – Mossel Bay*
Arrive in the town of Mossel Bay, found on South Africa’s famous Garden Route. Take time to enjoy its beaches and nature, with the opportunity to hike to the lighthouse, or visit an archaeological site.

Day 16: Arrive in Cape Town
Disembark the cruise ship today in Cape Town. You’ll be met by a guide at the port and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the Gold Restaurant, an immersive experience that feature a 14-course meal and traditional entertainment.

Day 17: Discover Cape Town
Take a tour of Cape Town today. Visit Greenmarket Square and the Castle of Good Hope. Then head to the colourful Bo-Kaap neighbourhood. After, ascend Table Mountain via the cableway before dinner on the V&A Waterfront.

Day 18: Explore the Cape Winelands
Today, embark on a tour of the Cape Winelands. Begin with a wine blending experience, guided by a wine ambassador. Then, head into the Franschoek valley. Here you can admire the Cape Dutch architecture and lunch before a wine and chocolate pairing. Return to Cape Town.

Day 19: Visit the Cape Peninsula
Leave the city to explore the Cape Peninsula. Drive along Chapman’s peak (weather permitting) to enjoy views out over the ocean. Then, visit Cape Point and Boulders Beach, where you can observe the resident penguin colony.

Day 20: Depart Cape Town
Fly to the UK, arriving the same or following day.
