26-day itinerary:
Days 1–2: Arrive in Kota Kinabalu
Fly overnight to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (Borneo). On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Depending on your flight time, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore or relax.

Day 3: Kota Kinabalu Sightseeing
Visit the Yayasan Sabah Tower for panoramic views, explore the Sabah State Museum to learn about local culture and history, then admire the city’s Blue Mosque and Chinese Temple. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Kinabalu National Park & Poring Hot Springs
Drive to Kinabalu National Park with a stop at Nabalu village for local fruits and handicrafts. Walk the canopy walkway at Poring Hot Springs, enjoy a soak in the thermal pools, and explore the flora and fauna at the foot of Mount Kinabalu.

Day 5: Sepilok & Kinabatangan River
Fly to Sandakan and visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Continue to the Sun Bear Conservation Centre. Later, cruise along the Kinabatangan River to your jungle lodge. In the evening, enjoy a wildlife spotting cruise.

Day 6: River Safari & Wildlife Watching
Early cruise to tranquil Pitas Lake for bird and wildlife viewing. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then transfer upriver to another lodge. Later, embark on another wildlife cruise – watch for hornbills, monkeys, and possibly pygmy elephants.

Day 7: Sukau & Gomantong Caves
Start the day with a dawn cruise on Oxbow Lake. After a relaxed morning, visit the impressive Gomantong Caves, home to millions of bats and swiftlets.

Transfer to Singapore’s cruise terminal to board the Norwegian Jade. Free day to explore the ship and settle in.
