Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City
Visit the Cu Chi tunnels, an extensive underground network used by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the Vietnam War for shelter, transport, and daily life. Crawl through a section to experience the confined conditions firsthand, then enjoy free time to explore independently or join one of the ‘Enhance Your Journey’ Experiences.

Day 4: My Tho, Cai Be
Spend a leisurely morning before driving to My Tho to board the RV Lotus, your boutique river ship for the next seven nights. Cruise from My Tho to Cai Be, relax on deck or in your suite, and enjoy a Welcome Dinner with fellow travelers.

Day 5: Cai Be, Sa Dec, Tan Chau
Explore Cai Be by boat, visit the towering Cai Be Church, and see rice paper and coconut candy makers. Enjoy lunch on board while cruising to Sa Dec, then tour the town, its markets, and the historic Huynh Thuy Le house. Return to the ship to relax or enjoy a spa treatment before sailing to Tan Chau during dinner and evening entertainment.

Day 6: Tan Chau, Phnom Penh
Take a small boat through Tan Chau’s winding tributaries, enjoy a rickshaw tour, and visit a rattan weaving workshop. After lunch, explore rural life on Evergreen Island, seeing traditional farming with water buffalo. Relax onboard as the RV Lotus cruises toward the Cambodian border. After crossing the border, continue overnight to Phnom Penh.

Day 7: Phnom Penh
Today, explore Cambodia’s tragic history at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields, including the Memorial Stupa. After lunch, visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, then enjoy free time to shop, try local delicacies, or relax on board.

Day 9: Phnom Penh, Oudong, Koh Chen
Begin the day with an excursion to Oudong. Here you’ll take part in a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony led by resident monks at a monastery. Return to Phnom Penh, stopping for a walk through Koh Chen, known for its production of copperware. Enjoy a free afternoon or choose one of the ‘Enhance your Journey’ experiences*.

Day 9: Phnom Penh, Oknha Tey, Angkor Ban
Rise early and cruise to Oknha Tey (Silk Island), known for its centuries-old silk traditions. Explore rural life by tuk tuk, visit stilt houses, and watch local women weave Khmer fabrics. Return to the ship for lunch, then enjoy leisure time on deck or by the pool as you sail toward Angkor Ban.

Day 10: Angkor Ban, Koh Pen, Kampong Cham
Start the day with a guided walk of Angkor Ban, one of the few traditional villages that survived the Khmer Rouge regime. After lunch, the ship arrives in Kampong Cham. From here, take a tuk tuk tour of the agricultural island of Koh Pen. Return to the ship for a farewell dinner.

Day 11: Kampong Cham, Siem Reap
Disembark the RV Lotus and travel to Siem Reap, passing through scenic countryside. Enjoy lunch before visiting the jungle temple of Ta Prohm. From here, you’ll continue to Opportunities of Development thru Art, a charity providing education to local children. Head back to the hotel, located in the French Quarter or join tonight’s ‘Enhance your Journey’ experiences*.

Day 12: Siem Reap
Wake early this morning to visit Angkor Archaeological Park and watch the sun rise over the temples. Return to the hotel for breakfast and some free time, during which you may want to join an ‘Enhance your Journey’ experience*. After, Explore the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the 12th-century Khmer capital, and marvel at the Bayon temple with its iconic serene faces and intricate architecture, immersing yourself in the grandeur and history of this remarkable site. End the day with a Khmer dinner, accompanied by an apsara dance performance.
