Day 1: UK – Shanghai
Titan’s shared national chauffeur service will pick you up from home and take you to the airport for your overnight flight to Shanghai

Day 2: Shanghai
On arrival in Shanghai, transfer to your hotel. After breakfast, enjoy time to relax before gathering for a welcome dinner.

Day 3: Shanghai
Take a sightseeing tour of the city, beginning with a stroll along the Bund before continuing to the Jade Buddha temple. After, visit a traditional silk factory and the lively Nanjing Road before returning to the hotel for free time. In the evening, you can join an optional cruise on the Huangpu River to see the skyline lit up.

Day 4: Shanghai
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Shanghai at your own pace. There’s also an optional excursion to Zhangjiajiao, one of the nearby water towns, known for its canals and historical architecture.

Day 5: Shanghai – Yichang
Travel by high speed rail to Yichang. On arrival, visit a local market and a riverside pagoda. After dinner at a local restaurant, board either the MS Victoria Isabella or MS Victoria Sabrina for a 4 night cruise along the Yangtze

Day 6: Yangtze
Today, visit the immense Three Gorge Dam, the largest hydroelectric power stations in the world. Return to the shp to cruise through the Xiling Gorge. In the evening, enjoy a Captain’s dinner onboard. There may be optional excursions available including travelling through the giant ship lift at the dam or visiting local culture sites.

Day 7: Yangtze
Transfer to a small vessel for an excursion down the Shennong Stream to admire the towering cliffs and forested slopes (please note, depending on river conditions, you may sail through the Goddess Stream instead). Back on the MS Victoria, sail through the remaining two gorges. Optional excursions today include visits to White Emperor City and an evening performance of the ‘Return to the Three Gorges’ show.

Day 8: Yangtze
Today, you’ll explore the scenic Snow Jade Cave and the Xiaoguanshan Ancient Folk Culture Park. However, depending on the river conditions, you may visit Shibaozhai instead. In the evening, join the crew for a farewell dinner. The optional excursion for today is a visit the Fengdu’s legendary ‘Ghost City’

Day 9: Chongqing
This morning, disembark in the city of Chongqing, one of China’s most striking urban landscapes. During today’s tour of the city, you’ll get the chance to take in the views from the Changjiahui Viewing Platform. Form here, take a stroll along Xiahaoli Old Street before visiting Liziba Station to watch the monorail pass through a residential tower block. After your tour, check into your hotel. For dinner tonight, you’ll try a traditional Sichuan hot pot.

Day 10: Chengdu
Take the high-speed train to Chengdu, Sichuan Province’s capital. Here you’ll visit People’s Park for a spot of people watching. After, stroll through the Wide and Narrow Alleys whose Qing Dynasty architecture has been resorts. Transfer to your hotel before having the rest of the day free to spend as you wish.

Day 11: Chengdu
Visit Chengdu’s famous Panda Breeding Centre, where you can observe the pandas in their specially designed habitats. While there, learn about the centre’s conservation programme focused on protecting them and increasing wild populations. Return to the hotel and enjoy a free afternoon.

Day 12: Xi’an
Travel via high-speed rail to Xi’an, one of China’s ancient capitals. On arrival, take a walk along the city walls which date from the 14^th century before checking into your hotel. In the evening, learn how to make traditional dumplings, enjoying your hand-made creations as part of your dinner. This evening, there’s also the option to attend the Tang Dynasty show.

Day 13: Xi’an
Today’s highlight is a visit to the see the immense Terracotta Army. Explore the excavated pits and see the thousands of life-sized statues before heading to the workshop here they recreate the figures. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before exploring Xi’an’s lively Muslim Quarter.

Day 14: Beijing
Make your final journey by high-speed rail, travelling to the capital, Beijing. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Begin your exploration of Beijing at Tiananmen Square, before entering the Forbidden City. Spend time exploring the complex, which is home to over 1,000 surviving buildings. After lunch, visit a traditional tea house to witness a tea ceremony. The evening is at leisure.

Day 16: Beijing
Today, you’ll visit one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, the Great Wall of China. You’ll take a cable car up to the scenic Mutianyu section, known for its watchtowers and forested surroundings. Walk along a section, taking in the sights before heading back down to visit a jade workshop to learn about its significance in Chinese culture. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner featuring Beijing’s famous Peking duck.

Day 17: Beijing – UK
