Days 1-2: Fly to Beijing
Fly overnight to Beijing. Depending on the arrival time of your flight, you may get the chance to start exploring.

Day 3: Imperial Beijing
This morning, head to Tiananmen Square before entering the Forbidden City to admire its imperial treasures. Later, visit the Temple of Heaven before sitting down this evening to enjoy Peking duck, a local delicacy

Day 4: The Great Wall
Spend the morning at one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, the Great Wall of China. You’ll get a chance to walk along a section of the wall to admire the views. Then, visit a jade factory where you can buy a small, handcrafted piece if you wish. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing visit to the Summer Palace and stroll through the traditional gardens.

Day 5: Fly to Zhangjiajie
Today, take a flight south to Zhangjiajie National Park

Day 6: Discover Zhangjiajie
Start your day with a ride in the Bailong glass elevator up the mountainside. At the top, take in the views of the ‘First Bridge under the Sun’ and Hallelujah Mountain. From here, continue to Emperor Mountain and Helong Park, before heading back down in a cable car.

Day 7: Tianmen Mountain
Take the world’s longest cable car, 7km in total, to reach the heights of Tianmen Mountain. Here you’ll be able to see Tianmen Cave, nicknamed ‘Heaven’s Door’, which stands at the top of 999 steep steps. You’ll also take a walk along a glass skywalk.

Day 8: Furong Ancient Town
Today, take an exhilarating walk across the Glass Bridge, which spans the park’s Grand Canyon. In the afternoon, travel to Furong Ancient Town and explore it’s riverside streets and traditional stilt houses.

Day 9: Chongqing Hot Springs
Head to the train station to board a bullet train to Chongqing, arriving in the afternoon. On arrival, you have the choice to visit one of the city’s top hot springs resorts to relax in the pool or to head out and explore the Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street independently

Day 10: Discover Chongqing’s Pandas
Spend the day exploring the city. Begin with a visit to the famous conservation centre to see the Giant Pandas. After, visit the Liziba Intersection to see the metro trains pass through a high-rise building. Later in the day, take scenic river cruse to admire the city’s architecture before passing the lights of Hongya Cave.

Day 11: Dazu Rock Carvings & Night Drone Show
Travel to Dazu, where you’ll explore the thousands of Buddhist, Taoist and Confucianist idols and symbols carved into the rocks here. Return to Chongqing for some leisure time. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner by the harbour before watching the Glamorous Drone Show, where over 5,000 sychronised drones light up the skyline

Day 12: Depart Chongqing
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home, arriving the same or following day.
