Originally the residence of the scions of the Shekhawat clan of Rajputs, Shahpura House is set in a relatively quiet residential area in downtown Jaipur. This converted hotel with its colourful Shekhawati frescoes and domes reflects the fusion of Hindu Rajput and Islamic Mughal-style architecture.
Located in the heart of Jodhpur, this stylish boutique hotel with 40 rooms and suites has one of the best locations in the city. The gorgeous rooms at Raas combine ethnic Indian design with contemporary style and many of the rooms offer magnificent views of the Mehrangarh fort.
Conveniently located adjacent to both the international and domestic airport terminals, the Pullman is a modern, comfortable hotel with large rooms. There is also a large shopping mall in close proximity with several restaurants.
Built in 1903, The Maidens hotel is a jewel of colonial architecture set amid three hectares of emerald-green lawns which has retained its old world charm down the years. Conveniently located, the hotel is 24km from the airport and 10km from Connaught Place, the main shopping and commercial centre.
A 300-year-old former palace, Fort Barli has been restored to its former glory in the form of a delightful heritage property offering just eight rooms. All of the rooms have their own distinctive character and feature antique furniture original to the fort and traditional Rajasthani decor.
Fateh Prakash is a royal residence decorated in the traditional style in the heart of Udaipur overlooking Lake Pichola. A durbar hall, antique furniture and an extensive crystal gallery all keep the ancient charm of the palace alive. The hotel consists of nine suites in the former state rooms and the Dovecote Wing.
Set on a hillside, Dev Shree is located on the edge of the Ragho Sagar lake, offering views of the waters that are home to a large variety of migratory birds in the winter season. The house was built in traditional haveli style with deep verandas, Rajput-style courtyards and spacious interiors. The property has just five rooms, which offer views of the gardens while some have private sit-outs and/or bay windows known as ‘gokhras’.
