Day 1: Fly to Kyoto
Titan’s VIP door to door service will pick you up from your home to bring you the airport for your overnight flight to Osaka, via Hong Kong

Day 2: Kyoto
Arriving in the morning, you’ll transfer to the hotel and have the rest of the afternoon free to relax.

Day 3: Kyoto
This morning, set out on a guided sightseeing tour of Kyoto, starting at Kinkakuji Temple, known as the Golden Pavilion due to the gold leaf covering its top two tiers. From here, continue to Nijo Castle where you’ll experience its famous ‘nightingale floors’ designed to make a noise to alert the inhabitants of intruders. End the morning with an invitation to experience a traditional tea ceremony. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4: Kyoto – Yudanaka
Hop on board one of Japanese famous bullet to reach Nagano station, located in the hot spring resort of Yudanaka. Enjoy some free time for lunch before visiting Zenkoji Temple. Then, travel to the village of Kanbayashi Onsen where you’ll get to relax in the open-air hot spring baths. This evening, sit down for a delicious kaiseki meal.

Day 5: Yudanaka – Tokyo
After breakfast, take a short walk to Jigokudani Monkey Park. Here you’ll be able to watch famous Japanese macaques who like to bathe in the hot springs before travelling to Tokyo this afternoon.

Day 6: Tokyo
Spend the morning exploring Tokyo, starting at the Imperial Palace, home to the Emperor of Japan before visiting Meiji-Jinhu, a grand Shinto shrine in the middle of the city. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore independently.

This ship calls at the city of Kochi on the island of Shikoku. Perhaps visit the castle, those only one in Japan with its original keep, which is also well known for its cherry blossoms.

Day 11: Cruise – Hiroshima
Here you can explore art installations, wander through historic gardens or take the very to Miyajima Island to see the ‘floating’ torii gate.

Day 12: Scenic Cruising Kanmon Strait
Today, the ship navigates through the Kanmon Strait which separates the islands of Honshu and Kyushu. Afterwards, it begins sailing to Busan

Day 13: Cruise – Busan, South Korea
Make a side trip to South Korea today, arriving in the vibrant city of Busan. Here you can relax on the beach, go hiking or explore the city’s cultural highlights like Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.

Day 14: Cruise – Sakaiminato
Today, you could explore the life and birthplace of the legendary Japanese animator Shigeru Mizuki, whose work has profoundly influenced modern Japanese culture. Or visit Black Castle which was once home to the Tokugawa dynasty.

Day 15: Cruise – Tsuruga
Head ashore and learn about the town’s history with a visit to the Red Brick Warehouse. Or, visit the Kehi Jingu Shrine. Or simple relax on the beach and try some of the town’s delicious seafood offerings.

Day 16: Cruise – Toyama
Toyama, meaning “rich with mountains,” lives up to its name as you approach this scenic coastal city. Admire the hundreds of cherry blossoms near Toyama Castle or maybe take the railway up Mount Tateyama for sweeping views of rural Japan—and on a clear day, even Mount Fuji.

Explore the historical buildings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries including merchant houses and warehouses. Also of interest is the Ken Domon Museum of Photography, which showcases everyday life in postwar Japan

Sitting at the northern tip of Honshu, Aomori is a great place for trips across the strait to Hokkaido. The area is known for its lakes and parks, including Hirosaki Park, known to have one of Japan’s most spectacular cherry blossom displays.
