Days 1–2: Fly to Osaka

Day 3: Discover Kyoto
Today is all about immersing yourself in Kyoto’s timeless beauty. Visit the dazzling Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), marvel at the Zen simplicity of Ryoan-ji’s rock garden, then stroll through the ethereal Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and cross the iconic Togetsukyo Bridge.

Day 4: More of Magical Kyoto
Begin with a visit to the hillside Kiyomizu-dera Temple, offering stunning views of the city. Enjoy a traditional sukiyaki lunch before heading to the Matsui Shuzou Museum to learn about sake brewing and enjoy a tasting. End the day walking through the vivid torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine.

Day 5: Bullet Train to Kanazawa
Hop aboard the famous shinkansen to Kanazawa. Wander the charming Higashi Chaya geisha district, try your hand at gold leaf crafting, and explore samurai history at the Nomura Samurai House.

Day 6: Kanazawa to Takayama
Start your day at the exquisite Kenrokuen Garden and explore modern art at the 21st Century Museum. Then journey into the Japanese Alps to the picturesque town of Takayama. Discover the Festival Floats Exhibition Hall, Kusakabe Folk Museum, and stroll historic Kamisannomachi Street.

Day 7: Takayama to Yudanaka

Begin with a visit to Senso-ji Temple and browse the traditional stalls along Nakamise Street.
