Days 1-2: Fly overnight to Penang
Fly overnight to Penang. On arrival, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3: George Town & Penang Hill
Spend the morning exploring George Town, enjoying a trishaw ride and seeing the intricate Khoo Kongsi clan house. Then, head to Penang hill and take the funicular train to the top where you’ll have lunch and wander through the rainforest.

Day 4: Ipoh & Cameron Highlands
Journey through the countryside towards the Cameron Highlands. On the way, stop in Ipoh, where you’ll get the chance to see the iconic Railway Station and Birch Clock Tower. Continue to Kellie’s Castle, once owned by a Scottish tycoon before reaching the highlands.

Day 5: Mossy Forest
Take a relaxed hike to see the Mossy Forest, full of exotic plants like pitcher plants. After taking in the views, drive to a tea plantation to learn about local production. Start your journey to Kuala Lumpur, stopping at the Lata Iskander Waterfall and an indigenous Orang Asli roadside shop selling handicrafts.

Day 6: Discover Kuala Lumpur
Head out of the city to visit the immense Batu Caves, one of the country’s most important Hindu temples. Return to Kuala Lumpur and visit the highlights, including Masjid Jamek and the Old District. After, head up to the Petronas Tower’s Skybridge before a food tour.

Day 7: Discover Malacca
Visit Malacca’s Old Town for a fascinating tour. See Dutch Square and its church, take part in a Chinese paper cutting experience and relax on a river cruise before returning to Kuala Lumpur.

Day 8: Fly to Sandakan
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Sandakan in Borneo. Any time before dinner is at leisure.

Day 9: Orangutans & Sun Bears
Today, visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to see them in their natural habitat. Then, visit the Sun Bear Conservation Centre to learn about efforts to protect them. In the afternoon, head to Agnes Keith House before continuing to Sandakan Memorial Park.

Day 10: Sandakan to Kota Kinabalu
Take a short flight to Kota Kinabalu. In the evening, explore the night market and head up to Signal Hill for panoramic views of the city. Then, enjoying a Malaysian dinner accompanied with a cultural performance.

Day 11: Kota Kinabalu & Mangrove River Cruise
This morning, visit the Sabah Museum to learn about the region’s history before taking part in a Batik painting workshop. Here you’ll learn about traditional designs and their significance. In the afternoon, enjoy a river cruise through the mangrove forest during which you might spot some native wildlife, including the Proboscis Monkey.

Day 12: Mari Mari Cultural Village
Head to Mari Mari Cultural Village to learn about the cultural diversity of Sabah. While here, visit the traditional homes of various ethnic groups and learn about their customs during hands on activities such as blowpipe making demonstrations.

Day 13: Fly to Singapore
Fly to Singapore. On arrival, the rest of the day is at leisure to relax or begin exploring.

Day 14: Explore Singapore
Spend the day exploring the city. Explore Chinatown and see Kampong Glam before continuing to Little India to see the bustling markets. This evening, visit the Gardens by the Bay for a spectacular light show.

Visit one of the world’s top Orangutan rehabilitation centres where you can observe them during feeding sessions
Learn the traditional of the Mari Mari
See the traditional houses of Borneo’s ethnic groups and engage in activities like blowpipe making and fire starting.
Batik Painting Workshop
Take part in a workshop where you’ll learn the cultural significance of Batik and create your own to take home as a souvenir.
