Days 1-2: Fly overnight to Bangkok
Take an overnight flight to Bangkok. On arrival, the rest of the day is at leisure to spend as you wish.

Day 3: Discover Bangkok
Spend the day exploring the city, visit the Grand Palace and Wat Pho’s reclining Buddha. Then, head to Chinatown before cruising on the Chao Phraya River by long tail boat. Finish the day with a visit to Pak Khlong Talaat flower market.

Day 4: Bridge over the River Kwai
Travel southwest to the Maeklong Railway Market, where the stalls are moved as the trains pass through. Then, continue to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market before travelling to Kanchanaburi. Here you’ll explore the Thai-Burma Railway Centre, see the famous Bridge on the River Kwai and visit the Allied War Cemetery.

Day 5: Death Railway
Visit Hellfire Pass, one of the railway’s most poignant sections before exploring the memorial museum. Later, take scenic journey on the Death Railway, taking in the sweeping jungle views.

Day 6: Ayutthaya
Today, explore the site of Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam. See the ruins of Wat Chaiwattanaram and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet before heading to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. Return to Bangkok later in the day for a flight to Chiang Mai.

Day 7: Elephant Sanctuary
Visit the region’s famous elephant sanctuary to learn about their conservation efforts and to observe some of the rescued elephants. Then, visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep to take in the panoramic views. End the day with a traditional Khantoke dinner, accompanied by cultural performances.

Day 8: Fly to Phuket
Travel to the airport for a flight to Phuket, Thailand’s largest island. On arrival, transfer to your resort.
