Days 1-2: Fly to Siem Reap
Fly overnight to Siem Reap in Cambodia. On arrival, transfer to the hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure before a welcome dinner.

Day 3: Explore Angkor
Head into the city of Angkor Thom, beginning your exploration at the iconic Bayon temple. Admire the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King before continuing to Ta Prohm. The rest of the afternoon is spent at Angkor Wat. As the sun sets, head up to Phnom Bakheng Temple to take in the views of Angkor Wat.

Day 4: Cruise Tonle Sap
This morning, visit the mysterious Beng Mealea temple, which has been overrun by the surrounding jungle. Then, head to Tonle Sap Lake for a cruise across the water to visit Kampong Kleng. See the stilt houses and observe the community. Return to Siem Reep where you’ll watch a traditional Apsara show and enjoy a dinner of local dishes

Day 5: Travel to Saigon
Travel into the countryside around Siem Reap to get a deeper insight into Cambodian culture, with visits to small villages and farms. Share a home-made lunch with the locals before flying to Saigon.

Day 6: Cu Chi Tunnels
Today, visit the Ci Chi Tunnels for a tour around some of the hidden Viet Cong tunnels and bunkers that were used during the Vietnam War. In the evening, embark on a food tour of Saigon, try some local favourites.

Day 7: Mekong Delta
Venture into the Mekong Delta region by boat, navigating the networks of canals and waterways. Pass riverside communities and local fishermen before visiting cottage industries making coconut candy as well as a workshop of a family who weave with water hyacinths. Then, enjoy lunch at a local house and watch a Bánh xèo (savoury pancake) demonstration

Day 8: Fly to Hanoi
Fly to Vietnam’s capital and embark on a guided tour. Behing at Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, before heading to the peaceful grounds of the Temple of Literature. From here, you’ll the visit Ngoc Son Temple which sits on Hoan Kiem Lake. As night falls, head out on a street food tour in the Old Quarter, during which you can discover Vietnamese egg coffee, dishes from northern Vietnam before ending with a glass of local beer at Bia Hoi Corner.

Days 9-10: Ha Long Bay
Travel to Ha Long Bay and board a boat for your overnight cruise. Sail out into the bay and spend the next two days visiting caves, kayaking, trying fishing or practising Tai Chi in the morning. Return to Hanoi on the second day and attend the Quintessence of Tonkin show which celebrates the rich history of Northern Vietnam.

Day 11: Fly to Hong Kong
Depart Hanoi for Hong Kong. On arrival the rest of the day is at leisure before dinner at the hotel in the evening.

Day 12: Explore Hong Kong
Take the tram up Victoria’s Peak to take in the views and for a walking tour. Return to Central and ride the Central Escalator to Tai Kwan. Continue to Hollywood Road and Man Mo Temple before sampling a pastry at a traditional bakery. Then, sit down for a dim sum lunch before taking a wander through the West Kowloon Cultural District. Later, walk down The Avenue of Stars to admire Victoria Harbour at night.

Day 13: Board the Azamara Quest
After breakfast, transfer to the cruise terminal to board the Azamara Quest. The rest of the day is free to explore the ship’s facilities and settling into your cabin.

Day 27: Arrive in Seoul
Sail into Seoul’s cruise port and disembark the ship. You’ll be met by an English-speaking guide before transferring to hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 28: Explore Seoul
Spend the day exploring the city. Start at the Gwanghwamun Plaza, before passing through the largest gate of the Gyeongbok Palace where you can see the changing of the guard ceremony. Then, try on traditional dress to explore the Bukchon Hanok Village, home to restored heritage buildings. Later, enjoy a cooking demonstration where you’ll learn about kimchi before taking a stroll through the Myeongdong neighbourhood.

Day 29: Fly Seoul to UK
Fly home to the UK, arriving the same or following day
