Visit the breathtaking temples of Angkor, the treasures of Saigon, and the incomparable majesty of Halong Bay, with evenings at leisure for independent exploration.

Days 1-2: Fly to Siem Reap
Fly overnight to Siem Reap. Depending on your time of arrival the rest of the day is yours to start soaking up the local culture.

Day 3: Tonle Sap
This morning, explore the jungle-clad Beng Mealea temple with your private guide. Later, discover Tonle Sap, visiting Kompong Khleang stilt village (Aug-Feb) or Chong Kneas floating village (Mar-Jul). Return via Satcha artisan house before enjoying a free evening in Siem Reap, with Pub Street and the night market nearby.

Day 4: Explore Angkor
Enjoy a full-day private tour of Angkor’s highlights, including Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat. Later, cruise Angkor Thom’s moat to discover the ancient Khmer water system before returning to the Aviary for a free evening and optional spa time.

Day 5: Discover Phnom Penh
Enjoy a free morning in Siem Reap before flying to Phnom Penh. Transfer to the Baitong Resort & Spa in BKK1, then cruise the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers at sunset with a local beer, taking in views of the Royal Palace and riverfront. The evening is at leisure to dine at the resort or explore BKK1.

Day 6: Fly to Saigon
Visit the National Museum, Tuol Sleng Museum and Wat Phnom before flying to Saigon. Check into the Odys Saigon in District 1 and enjoy city views from the rooftop bar before dinner at leisure.

Day 7: Chu Chi Tunnels
Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about Viet Cong guerrilla warfare, including traps, hospitals and tunnel networks. Later, explore the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum and bustling Ben Thanh Market.

Day 8: Mekong Delta
This morning, travel to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam’s fertile “Rice Basket.” Cruise between islands by motorboat and paddle through narrow canals before returning to Saigon in the early evening.

Day 9: Explore Saigon
Explore Saigon’s French colonial landmarks, including the Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and Thien Hau Pagoda, before flying to Danang and transferring to UNESCO-listed Hoi An. Stay at the Silkotel near the Old Town and enjoy a free evening exploring its lantern-lit streets, shops and renowned tailors.

Day 10: Journey to Hoi An
Visit Tra Que village to learn about traditional farming and try it yourself. After lunch, enjoy a guided tour of Hoi An, including the Japanese Bridge, a Chinese temple, the market and Reaching Out social enterprise. The evening is at leisure.

Day 11: Imperial Hue
Drive the scenic Hai Van Pass to Hue, where you’ll visit Thien Mu Pagoda and enjoy a cruise on the Perfume River. Stay at the historic Saigon Morin Hotel, ideally located on the riverbank in the heart of the city.

Day 12: Exploring Hue
Visit the UNESCO-listed Royal Tombs of Khai Dinh and Minh Mang, a Truc Chi bamboo paper workshop, and Hue’s Imperial Citadel and Forbidden Purple City. Return to the hotel or explore at your leisure before a free evening.

Day 13: Hanoi Cyclo
Fly to Hanoi and explore the Old Quarter by cyclo before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese coffee overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake. Check into the centrally located Lapis Hotel and spend the evening at leisure in the nearby Old and French Quarters.

Day 14: Halong Bay
Travel to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise aboard the Bhaya. Sail among the bay’s iconic karst islands and enjoy activities such as cave visits or kayaking in this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 15: Return to Hanoi
Rise early for sunrise over Halong Bay before returning to Hanoi. Later, visit a water puppet artist’s home to learn about this centuries-old tradition, see the puppets being made and enjoy a private performance.

Day 16: Ho Chi Minh Quarter
