When to visit the Atlantic Ocean

The ideal to sail along the East coast of the USA and Canada in July and August. Summer in Nova Scotia is the best time to see the whales return to the Bay of Fundy. It’s also the best time of year for taking part in outdoor festivals and events. September and October, while not peak season, are brilliant for those wanting to witness the beautiful autumn foliage.

November to April is the best time for cruising in the Caribbean. From January through March, you can enjoy idyllic tropical weather with pleasant temperatures and low humidity. January also marks the start of the Caribbean dry season, significantly reducing the likelihood of rain during your cruise vacation.

Many of the South American countries that border the South Atlantic are year-round destinations, but the months between November and February are the best time to visit, thanks to the higher temperatures, better conditions in Patagonia and the selection of festivals and celebrations happening.
