Day 1: Journey to Sydney
Today, head to the airport and start your journey to Sydney
Day 2: Arrival in Sydney
On arrival to Sydney, transfer straight to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3: Free day in Sydney
You’ll have the whole of the day free to relax and adjust to the change in time zone. You can either relax in the hotel or perhaps make a start on exploring with the option to join your tour manager for an orientation tour of the local area.
Day 4: Sydney
After breakfast, venture out on a guided tour of the city, beginning with a visit to The Rock’s where the First Fleet arrived in 1788. From here, you’ll head to Bondi Beach, enjoying some free time to take in the scenery and grab some lunch. Then, return to the Central Business District to see Mrs Macquaries Chair, from which you’ll have great views of the harbour. The final visit of the day is the famous Sydney Opera House. Here you’ll join a guided tour that takes you into the building to learn its history.
Day 5: Blue Mountains
Leaving the city behind, head to the Blue Mountains, heading into the Jamison Valley whee you can admire the Three Sister rock formation. Next, visit Scenic World, where you can ride on the Scenic Railway, the world’s steepest incline railway that takes you through ancient rainforest to a boardwalk that connects with the Flyway platform. Then take a ride on the Skyway cable car, which takes you 270 metres over ravines and waterfalls for 360° views of the valley.
Day 6: Brisbane
This morning, transfer to the airport and take a flight to Brisbane. On arrival, head to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, the world’s largest. You’ll get the chance to see some of the animals they take care of, including wombats, koalas and Kangaroos. In the afternoon, take a relaxing cruise on the Brisbane River.
Day 7: Free day in Brisbane
Today is yours to spend as you wish, with Brisbane’s compactness making it easy to explore. Alternatively, you could book a visit to Australia Zoo
Day 8: Cairns
Today, take a flight north to the coastal city of Cairns. On arrival, transfer to the hotel with the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 9: Kuranda Scenic Railway
Head to the village of Kuranda on the outskirts of the city. Here you’ll board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, a four-and-a-half mile journey that gives you great views of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, home to some of the world’s oldest continuously surviving tropical rain forest. After the ride on the cableway you’ll visit a rainforest interpretative centre before having free time in the village itself. Then, board the Kuranda Scenic Railway, a vintage train journey that takes you through the Barron Falls National Park.
Day 10: Great Barrier Reef
Board a catamaran this morning and sail to Michaelmas Cay, a reef sand island surrounded by coral gardens. Here you’ll have time to explore the outer reefs that are teeming with marine life, either by snorkelling or taking a ride on a glass bottom boat. A buffet lunch is included today.
Day 11: Cairns
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Cairns, where you can either relax in the hotel or perhaps visit some of the museums or the Botanical Gardens
Day 12: Cairns to Uluru
This morning, take a flight to Uluru, where you’ll check into your hotel. In the afternoon, travel to the Kata Tjuta (also known as The Olgas), a group of domed rock formations where you’ll stop at a lookout to admire the views before spending some time exploring Walpa Gorge. This evening, head to “Sunset Strip” to admire Uluru at sunset while enjoying a drink and nibbles
Day 13: Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over Uluru before enjoying breakfast back at the resort. Afterwards, head off on the Mala Walk, a lovely stroll that takes you to the edge of Kantju Gorge to admire its vastness while learning about the spiritual significance of Uluru to the Aboriginal peoples of the area. You’ll then take a north walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole, during which you’ll gain an understand of the Dreamtime Stories that give the area such significance. The afternoon is then at leisure to spend as you wish.
Day 14: Melbourne
After a leisurely start, take a flight to Melbourne where you have the rest of the day free to begin exploring the city.
Day 15: Melbourne
Today, take an introductory tour to the city, discovering its parks, gardens and classic buildings like the Old Treasury, the War Memorial and Federation Square. You’ll also drive past the famous cricket ground and Rod Laver Arena where the Australian Open is played. The afternoon is then free for you to explore independently.
Day 16: Great Ocean Road
An early start today as you head out to drive along the Great Ocean Road, often hailed as the country’s most spectacular coastal highway. Head past Torquay, Cape Otway and the Shipwreck Coast, passing quaint towns and villages. You’ll then get the chance to stop at the famous Twelve Apostles. Enjoy some free time for lunch before returning to Melbourne in the evening.
Day 17: Puffing Billy and Phillip Island
Travel to the nearby Dandenong Ranges this morning which you’ll explore on Puffing Billy, a traditional steam train which takes you from Belgrave to the Lakeside Visitor Centre. From here, head to Phillip Island Koala Centre. Here you’ll head up onto the tree-top boardwalks to watch the koalas. Next, visit the Nobbies Centre, which showcase marine life from the southern oceans. This evening, you’ll get to witness the Penguin Parade, during which dozens of Little Penguins make their way out of the ocean back to their sand-dune burrows. Return to Melbourne.
Day 18: Depart Australia
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home.
Day 19: Arrive home
Arrive back in the UK

Take a 2-hour cruise on Sydney Harbour while enjoying a 3-course a la carte dinner
Sound of Silence Dinner
At sunset, enjoy outback style canapes while taking in the views of Kata Tjuta and Uluru. Then, take in a didgeridoo performance before sitting down for a 3-course bush-tucker inspired buffet dinner with a selection of drinks included
Cape Tribulation
Enjoy a full-day Daintree adventure with an early start, including morning tea at Mossman Gorge, a guided rainforest walk, a one‑hour Daintree River wildlife cruise, and a tropical lunch by Cooper Creek. Visit Cape Tribulation Beach, sample exotic fruit ice cream, then finish with sweeping views from Alexandra Lookout over the river and Coral Sea.
