Day 1: UK – Toronto

Explore the city of Toronto on a guide morning tour, before taking an excursion to the awe-inspiring, Niagara Falls.

Day 3: ‘The Canadian’
This morning, board your trans-Canada train for your journey west

Day 4: ‘The Canadian’
Enjoy a day onboard as you head towards Manitoba.

Day 5: ‘The Canadian’ (Winnipeg – Edmonton)
Today you’ll have the chance to get off in Winnipeg to stretch your legs before the train continues to Edmonton where there’s another brief stop.

Day 6: ‘The Canadian’ – Jasper
Arrive in Jasper after passing through Jasper National Park, with there being time in the afternoon for you to explore this relaxed alpine-town.

Day 7: Jasper
Experience an in-depth sightseeing tour of the wonderful Jasper National Park, including a visit to Maligne Lake, Maligne Canyon and Medicine Lake, before spending the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 8: Jasper – Columbia Icefield – Banff
This morning, drive along the Icefield Parkway to Banff. Along the way, stop at the Columbia Icefield. Depending on suitable weather conditions, enjoy a scheduled Ice Explorer ride on the surface of the Athabasca Glacier.

Day 9: Banff – Lake Louise
Soak up the immersive panoramic views while on an exciting guided tour of Banff, which also includes a visit to the breathtaking Lake Louise.

Day 10: Rocky Mountaineer (Banff – Kamloops)
Board the famous Rocky Mountaineer train for a spectacular journey through the Rockies. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon and Rogers Pass. Arrive in Kamloops for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Rocky Mountaineer (Kamloops – Vancouver)
Continue west today as you pass by the Coast and Cascade Mountains, through the Fraser River Valley and see the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate. Arrive into Vancouver later in the day.

Day 12: Vancouver
Choose to either explore Vancouver at your own pace, or join an optional excursion to Vancouver Island.
