Day 1: UK to Albania
Titan’s door-to-door service will take you to the airport for your flight to Albania. On arrival in Tirana, transfer to your hotel

Day 2: Tirana
Begin the day with a guided tour of Tirana. Pass the Presidential Palace and the National Art gallery to reach Skanderbeg Square. In the afternoon, explore the city independently, perhaps heading to Mount Dajti National Park by cable car.

Day 3: Tirana
Enjoy a free day in Tirana or join an optional excursion to Shkodra, one of the oldest cities in Albania.

Day 4: Berat
Travel to the riverside city of Berat, where you can explore the Ottoman architecture and Byzantine churches. Make your way back to Tirana, stopping at a local winery en route to sample some wines.

Day 5: Kruja
In the morning, visit the medieval town of Kruja. Here you’ll head to the History and Ethnographic Museum before stopping at an old bazaar.

Day 6: To Ohrid
Head over the border into North Macedonia, arriving in the lakeside town of Ohrid. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7: Ohrid
Spend the morning visiting some of the town’s churches, including Church of St Jovan Kaneo before seeing the Icon Gallery, the town’s collection of Byzantine Icons. The afternoon is at leisure to explore at your own pace.

Day 8: Skopje
Today, take a tour of the capital, Skopje. See some of the city’s old and new highlights, including the old bazaar and Macedonia Square. Then, take sometime to explore on your own.

Day 9: St Naum Monastery
Take a boat ride along Lake Ohrid to reach the monastery of St Naum. Along the way, pass Pestani, Trpejca and Ljubanista before stopping off at the ‘Bay of the Bones’. After visiting the monastery, enjoy some time at leisure by the lake.

Day 10: Mavrovo
Spend the day exploring Mavrovo National Park, home to the country’s tallest mountains as well as rivers, meadows and gorges. Travel past three lakes, including Movrovo Lake and stop to visit the monasteries of St Jovan Bigorski and St Georgi Pobedonosec

Day 11: Ohrid
Today, enjoy another free day around Lake Ohrid.
