Immerse yourself in the alpine beauty and rich culture of Tyrol on this journey. Explore Innsbruck’s imperial history, the majestic peaks of the Oetztal Valley, the iconic Neuschwanstein castle, and the historic towns of Merano and Bolzano. Then, venture to Lake Constance, where Germany, Austria, and Switzerland converge, to discover its charming islands and lakeside towns.
Day 1: Arrival in Seefeld
Fly to Munich or Innsbruck and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure
Day 2: Innsbruck
After breakfast, take a short drive to Innsbruck where you’ll have a guided tour of the city. Marvel at the famous Golden Roof, St Jakob’s Cathedral, and the Imperial Palace. In the afternoon, visit the famous Olympic Ski Jump and the Sky restaurant (See Signature Tours for more details)
Day 3: Merano & Bolzano
Follow the Roman Via Claudia Augusta as you drive to the spa town of Merano, where you can wander along the river. In the afternoon, head to Bolzano where you can choose from two activities. You can either take a walking tour or head to the Museum of Archeaology to see Oetzi the Iceman. Later, return to Seefeld along the famous Brenner Pass.
Day 4: Neuschwanstein
Travel into Bavaria this morning along the Romantic and Alpine roads, which bring you to the instantly recognizable Neuschwanstein Castle. On arrival, take a tour of the castle.
Day 5: Oetztaler Glacier Road & Stams Monastery
Today, drive through the Oetztal Valley to the resort of Soelden. Continue up the Glacier Road into the mountains, enjoying stunning views of glaciers and peaks. In the afternoon, head back to the river Inn for a visit to Stams Monastery. Discover its renowned murals and frescoes on a guided tour.
Day 6: Free day & Brewery Experience
This morning, you’ll have the opportunity to relax or explore Seefeld before heading to a local microbrewery in the afternoon. (See Signature Tours for more details)
Day 7: Achenseebahn
After breakfast, journey to Jenbach, where you’ll board a train to ride the historic Achenseebahn, a metre gauge railway which takes you up to Achensee Lake. Later on, travel to medieval Rattenburg. Take some time to explore the narrow street and head to the castle for great views of the town.
Day 8: Feldkirch
Leaving Seefeld today, take a journey to Feldkirch. On arrival enjoy lunch at the town’s castle (See Signature Tours for more details). In the afternoon, take a tour of the town before checking into the hotel.
Day 9: Lindau & Bregenz
Start the day with a visit to Lindau, siting on an island in Lake Constance. Then, leave by boat to travel to Bregenz. On arrival, enjoy the day’s Signature Experience (See Signature Tours for more information) before having the afternoon at leisure.
Day 10: Bregenzerwald & local cheese tasting
Drive through the rolling hills of Bregenzerwald this morning, including a visit to the Bregenzerwald Cheese Road, where you can stop to sample locally produced cheese and meet the locals. Return to Feldkirch in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 11: The Garden Island of Mainau
Travel along the northern shore of Lake Constance today, passing through the city of Friedrichshafen to arrive in Meersburg. Here, you’ll board a ferry to the island of Mainau. This island is home to one of Germany’s largest butterfly houses and countless colourful blooms which you can see as you explore the grounds. There is also a Teutonic Castle you can visit while here.
Day 12: Return home
Transfer to the airport for your journey home

Day 2:
Head out of Innsbruck to visit the Olympic Ski Jump Bergisel and visit the Sky Restaurant at the top of the Ski Jump Tower. Enjoy a traditional coffee and cake, followed by a glass of sparkling wine.
Day 6:
Enjoy a tour of a local microbrewery before having a chance to taste their unique beers, accompanied by a selection of cheese and charcuterie.
Day 8:
Upon arrival in Feldkirch, visit Schattenburg Castle, home to a museum and restaurant where you’ll sample traditional schnitzel.
Day 9:
Take a cable car up to the top of Pfänder Mountain which is the most famous lookout point in the region, thanks to its majestic views of the Alps.
Plus, enjoy the more exclusive atmosphere of travelling in a small group of 25 or fewer guests.
