Embark on a journey through the Croatian countryside and rugged coastline to immerse yourself in its natural beauty. From ancient olive groves to hidden coves, guided walks unveil numerous wonders, offering paths suitable for all levels. Between walks, explore Croatia’s rich history and culture, visiting Split to witness Emperor Diocletian’s Palace and Dubrovnik, known as ‘the Pearl of the Adriatic’, with its ancient walls and architectural treasures.
Day 1: Arrival
Fly to Croatia. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by your tour manager and transfer to the hotel
Day 2: Walk: Makarska Riviera
Begin today’s walk in the quaint village of Tucepi and head towards Makarska. The green walk will follow the beachside promenade, bringing you to Nugal Beach. From here, follow a forest path to Makarska. The Blue Walk will continue from Makarska to the Peninsula of St Peter, which you’ll circle whilst enjoying views of Brac island. After your walk, enjoy some free time in the town

Moderate walk (Blue)
Duration: 2.5 hours
Distance: 4.7 miles

Terrain: paved road, gravel, and forest tracks
Day 3: Split & Trogir
Begin your day with a scenic drive along the coastline to Split. On arrival, take a guided walking tour of the city, visiting Diocletian’s Palace. In the afternoon, head to Trogir, where you can explore the town at leisure.
Day 4: Walk: Bacina Lakes
Today, you have the choice of two walking around the peaceful Bacina Lakes. Both walks follow a path around the largest lake to Podgora Lake. The green walk ends at Peracko Plaza, where those opting for the green walk will board a boat to ride across the lake. Those on the blue walk will continue around the lake on front back to the starting point. Later, head to Dubrovnik.

Duration: 2 hours
Distance: 2.4 miles
Altitude gain: 337 feet
Terrain: A mix of paved road, gravel and rocky tracks.
Moderate walk (Blue)
Duration: 3 hours
Distance: 5.7 miles
Altitude gain: 433 feet
Terrain: paved road, gravel and rocky tracks
Day 5: Dubrovnik
This morning, take a tour of the city of Dubrovnik, seeing its medieval old town in the company of a local guide. After your guided tour, enjoy free time to explore before returning to the hotel for dinner.
Day 6: Walk: Koločep Island
The day begins with a journey across to the island of Koločep, before beginning today’s walk. For the easy walk, you’ll follow one of the island’s many trails that passes through olive groves and pine forests and past sandy bays. For the moderate walk, take a hillier track across the island, enjoying brilliant views of the scenery. Both walks end in Gornje Čelo, where you can enjoy some free time before heading back to Dubrovnik.

Altitude gain: 382 feet
Terrain: Paved road, gravel and grassy tracks
Moderate walk (Blue)
Duration: 3 hours
Distance: 4 miles
Altitude gain: 612 feet
Terrain: Paved road, gravel and grassy tracks
Day 7: Free day in Dubrovnik
Spend the day as you please in Dubrovnik. Head to the beach or take a stroll around the city walls or even cruise around the harbour.
Day 8: Return home
Transfer back to the airport for you flight home.
