Day 1: Arrival in Aix-en-Provence
Fly to France and transfer to your hotel in Aix-en-Provence. On arrival, enjoy an aperitif and canapes.

Day 2: Aix-en-Provence
Take a guided walking tour of the city, exploring colourful boulevards and squares. In the afternoon, leave the city to visit an organic winery to learn how their wine is produced. Plus, enjoy a glass with lunch before transferring back to the hotel.

Day 3: The Camargue
Venture to the Camargue, a national park that is home to iconic Camargue horses as well as around 400 species of bird. Arrive in the port town of Saintes Maries de la Mar to take a guided boat tour of the wetlands. Then, head to the city of Arles, a former roman regional capital. On a guided tour, see the Roman amphitheatre, Augustus’ theatre and the Forum. Enjoy some free time to explore, perhaps seeking out locations from Van Gogh’s paintings

Day 4: Luberon Mountains
Travel north to the stunning Luberon mountains, enjoying scenic views of hilltop villages, olive groves and lavender fields.

Day 5: Free Day
Spend the day as you wish in Aix, perhaps visiting the superb Musee Granet to see works by Cezanne, Degas and Monet. Or, head to the Museum of Natural History to see dinosaur eggs unearthed nearby.

Day 6: Avignon
Visit nearby Avignon today, once the seat of the Pope. Visit the imposing Papal Palace or the Petit Palais Museum, home to over 1,000 paintings. During the day, you’ll also visit the Pont du Gard, a roman aqueduct that is wider than the Thames in London. Return to Aix, where you’ll dine in a renowned local restaurant.

Day 7: Cassis
Head to the coast to visit the fishing port of Cassis. The colourful cottages and harbour have attracted a number of famous visitors including Winston Churchill and Virginia Woolf. Enjoy lunch at leisure before taking an afternoon boat ride to see the Massif des Calanques.

Day 8: Antibes, Grasse & Nice
This morning, head to the historic town of Antibes for some time to explore the old town before continuing to Grasse this afternoon. Tour the historic Fragonard perfumery to learn its tradition before an exclusive masterclass during which you’ll create your own personalised Eau de Cologne to take home. Continue to Nice where you’ll check into your hotel.

Day 9: Nice & Villa Ephrussi
Spend the morning touring the city with a guide, seeing the iconic Promenade des Anglais and the legendary flower market. In the afternoon, visit the extraordinary Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, where you’ll have a guided tour of the villa, before stopping to enjoy champagne and canapes in an exclusive part of the villa, not open to the public. Later in the afternoon, return to the hotel.

Day 10: Free day in Nice
Enjoy a free day is explore the city, maybe visiting one of museum or simply relaxing near the seafront.

Day 11: Monaco & Montecarlo
Journey along the scenic Basse Corniche to reach the petit country of Monaco. On arrival, take a guided tour that delves into the history of the Grimaldi family. Visit Montecarlo, driving around the Marina before exploring the old town. On your return to Nice, stop at the village of Eze.

Day 12: Return home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
