Day 1 – Travel to Chamonix
Fly to Geneva or take the Eurostar to Annecy and then transfer to the mountain town of Chamonix. On arrival, check into your hotel before having the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 – Mont Blanc & free afternoon
After breakfast, board the narrow-gauge railway, climbing to the Montenvers’ alpine meadows. Here you’ll see the Mer de Glace. Should you wish, you can take a cable car for a ride towards the glacier surface. The afternoon is free to explore Chamonix.
Day 3 – Annecy
Drive to Annecy, where a guided walk reveals the history of this medieval lakeside town. After lunch at leisure and a lake cruise, journey back to Chamonix.
Day 4 – Aiguille Du Midi
Take a cable car over 3,842 meters to the top of the Aiguille du Midi. Marvel at the adjacent Mont Blanc, the surrounding Swiss, French and Italian Alps. On a clear day, you might even spot the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa in the distance.
Day 5 – Yvoire & Evian Les Bains
Travel to Lake Geneva where you’ll discover the historic village of Yvoire. Nearby is the spa town of Evian Les Bains, a spa town once one of the most fashionable destinations for socialites and royalty. Take a stroll down the Art Nouveau Promenade then take the water at the Source Cachat.
Day 6 – Aosta
Encounter Europe’s longest tunnel, which passes under Mont Blanc itself, emerging in Italy. Arrive in Aosta, where your guided walking tour will highlight the extensive legacy of the Romans here.
Day 7 – Chateau Chillon
Drive through the Alps to Switzerland today, where you’ll visit Chateau Chillon on Lake Geneva. Then drive along the lake to Montreux, a resort town nestled in the Alps. You’ll have free time to wander, so enjoy a peaceful stroll along the promenade.
Day 8 – Return Home
Return to Geneva or Annecy for your homeward journey.

Day 4:
– Dine at one of the highest restaurants in Europe at the very peak of Aiguille du Midi, a post-lunch hot drink will set you up for an afternoon of alpine adventure.
Day 5:
– Take your senses on a journey of discovery amidst the fragrant and colourful gardens of medieval Yvoire.
Day 7:
– Step into the ancient cellars of Château De Chillon for a private tasting of unique wines, made with grapes from the chateau’s vineyards.

Le Refuge des Aiglons
The hotel offers a superb terrace, outdoor pool and amazing Mont Blanc views. The contemporary lounge and very good quality restaurant both feature alpine views from panoramic windows. Each of the comfortable rooms has a balcony and is furnished in a contemporary alpine style.
Mercure Chamonix
The four-star rated Mercure Chamonix is in two facing buildings, featuring extensive use of local wood and is fashioned very much in a modern alpine Chalet style. Outside there is a terrace where it’s ideal to relax with a drink after sightseeing. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. The spacious rooms all have balconies.
