Day 1 – Arrival in Rome
Arrive at the airport for your flight to Rome. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 2 – Rome & Embarkment
This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Rome before heading to Civitavecchia to board the beautiful Star Flyer. You’ll have plenty of time to settle into your cabin and get familiar with the ship before sitting down for dinner.
Day 3 – Portoferraio
Spend the morning relaxing onboard the ship before it arrives at Portoferraio on the island of Elba, sitting just off the coast of Tuscany. Today’s included tour takes you on a scenic journey across the island to the village of Porto Azzurro, where you’ll have free time toander amongst the pretty pastel houses around the harbour. On the return drive to the ship, stop at La Chiusa, a wine estate that once hosted Napoleon for a wine tasting.
Day 4 – Bonifacio
Sail across the sea to Corsica and into the harbour of Bonifacio on the southern coast. Begin your exploration of the area with a train ride to the upper town where a guide will show you around the winding streets of the old town. In the evening, the ship sets off towards Sardinia
Day 5 – Alghero
Today, you’ll be exploring the city of Alghero in the north of the island. The guided walking tour take you through the medieval streets and alleys of old Alghero, seeing the Church of San Francesco and the Palazzo D’Ablis along the way. In the afternoon, you’re free to make your own discoveries in the city or relax on one of the sandy beaches along the coast.
Day 6 – Ajaccio
Moor in the Corsican city of Ajaccio this morning. Uncover more of the natural beauty of the island with a trip out to the Parata Peninsula. Here, you can take in the breathtaking views across the Gulf of Ajaccio to the Sanguinaires Islands. On the return to Ajaccio, you’ll visit Place d’Austerlitz to view the statue of Napoleon. In the afternoon, there is an optional tour to learn more about Napoleon’s links to the island, with visits to the town hall, and Maison Bonaparte.
Day 7 – Calvi
Sail along the coast to Calvi. Upon arrival, take a tour to discover the city’s citadel before eheaidng inland to visit picturesque villages such as Aregno and Corbara. You’ll also get the chance to stop at St Antonio, one of the highest and oldest inhabited villages on Corsica.
Day 8 – St Tropez
This morning, the ship anchors at one of St Tropez’s sandy beaches where you can relax on the beach or take a refreshing dip. You then set sail for the main town of St Tropez. In the afternoon, join a walking tour through the old fishing quarter of ‘La Ponche’. You’ll also get the chance to explore the port. There’s some free time before dinner to explore independently.
Day 9 – Cannes & Nice
Disembark the ship after breakfast and enjoy a walking tour of Cannes. Discover Le Suquet, Marche Forville and the legendary La Croisette. There is free time for lunch before you travel to Nice via a sightseeing tour along the French Riviera. Upon arrival in Nice, the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 10 – Nice
A guided tour this morning is the perfect introduction to all of the highlights of Nice. Delve into the enchanting Old Town, see the lively market of Cours Saleya and the historic Castle Hill. After the tour, you’re free to explore more of the city or relax on the beach in the hotel.
Day 11 – Return home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home

This hotel is 3 miles from the Vatican and walking distance to ‘Rome’s secret park’ the Villa Pamphili. Being located on the historic Via Aurelia Antica this allows suitable access for exploring the old town, museums and Roman Ruins.
