Day 1: UK to Berlin
Travel to the airport using Titan’s nationwide shared chauffeur service and take your flight to Berlin.

Day 2: Berlin
This morning, take a guided coach tour around east Berlin, visiting the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, the East Side Gallery and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. The tour ends at Alexanderplatz. You’ll have some free time to explore before heading back to the hotel.

Day 3: Berlin
Spend a full day exploring the city. Start with a coach tour to see the Reichstag, the Victory Column and the Kurfurstendamm. Later, visit the open-air Berlin Wall Memorial to learn about life during the time of the city’s division.

Day 4: Potsdam & Dresden
Leaving Berlin this morning, head towards Dresden, stopping in the city of Potsdam. Here you’ll take a guided tour of its squares and monuments, followed by free time in the Dutch Quarter. Continue onto Dresden and check into your hotel.

Day 5: Dresden
Join your guide this morning for a walking tour of Dresden’s historic centre. See the Semper Opera House and the Church of Our Lady, both reconstructed after World War II. Another stop on the tour is Bruhl’s Terrace, a beautiful riverside walkway above the city’s fortress. The tour ends at Dresden Castle. After an afternoon at leisure, you may wish to join an optional excursion to a performance by the Dresdner Residenz Konzerte (selected dates only)

Day 6: Meissen & Moritzburg
Travel to the nearby town of Meissen, where you’ll visit the famous Porcelain Manufactory. Tour the workshop and learn about the craftsmanship involved. After a short bit of free time in the town, continue to Moritzburg, stopping en-route to admire Schloss Moritzburg, a baroque moated castle. Once in Moritzburg, you’ll board a steam train for a half-hour journey through woodland and countryside.

Day 7: Colditz
Today’s tour takes you to Colditz Castle, famous for its use as a prisoner-of-war camp in World War II. Learn about its past before continuing to the town of Wernigerode on the edge of the Harz Mountains.

Day 8: Wernigerode & the Harz Railway
On a walking tour this morning, discover Wernigerode’s old town, from its medieval town hall to its colourful half-timbered houses. Later, board a heritage steam train to travel to Brocken, one of the highest mountain stations in Germany. Enjoy some free time to take in the incredible views of the national park.

Day 9: Quedlinburg
Journey to the UNESCO listed town of Quedlinburg. On a guided walking tour this morning, explore its renaissance castle and art nouveau villas. There’s free time this afternoon to explore independently. You may wish to visit the Klosterkirche Munzenberg or the Fachwerkmuseum im Standerbau.

Day 10: Return home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK. On arrival, Titan’s shared chauffeur service will be waiting to take you home.
