Embark on a culinary journey through Piedmont with renowned food writer and chef Valentina Harris. Based in Turin, this immersive tour uncovers the region’s most treasured flavours and ingredients – celebrated truffles, fine wines, vermouth, grappa, rich chocolate, and artisan cheeses. With Valentina as your guide, wander through picturesque streets and lively markets, where every bite reflects the deep traditions and creative spirit of northern Italy.

Day 1: Fly to Turin
Fly to Turin. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink featuring snacks and a choice of local wines.
Day 2: Turin
Take a private guided tour of Turin, visit the palaces of Carignano, Madama and Reale as well as the Duomo which houses the Shroud of Turin. After, enjoy a lunch of local delicacies at a traditional shop before exploring the Porta Palazzo food market. In the afternoon, take a train to Casa Martini where you’ll enjoy a guided tour and a vermouth class.

Day 3: Turin
Start the day with a visit to the Mole Antonelliana, the city’s tallest historical building which houses the National Cinema Museum. Enjoy an authentic ‘merenda reale’ – a treat similar to afternoon tea, featuring traditional sweets and a cup of bicerin. Then, visit a chocolate factory for a tour before having time at leisure. This evening, dine at a restaurant serving historical recipes from the region’s monasteries.

Day 4: Turin – Langhe – Alba – La Morra – Turin
This morning, head to the village of Roddi where you’ll see a truffle hunt demonstration before a light lunch of truffle based dishes. Then, head to Alba for some free time. Continue to La Morra, visiting a winery to learn about the production of Borolo, was well as other local wines. Finish the day with a farewell dinner at the winery.

Day 5: Fly to London
The morning is at leisure, with an option to visit the Palazzo Real or the Egyptian Museum (tickets to be booked in advance). Transfer to the airport for your flight home
