Day 1: Arrival in Venice
Fly to Venice and transfer to the hotel

Day 2: Venice
Explore the city today on a walking tour that brings you to its many famous landmarks, including the Doge’s Palace and St Marks’ Basilica. After the tour, take the opportunity to travel along the iconic waterways on a traditional gondola.

Day 3: Free Day
Enjoy a free day to explore more of Venice independently, perhaps visiting the Gallerie dell’Accademia or the Guggenheim or simply relaxing in a cafe.

Day 4: Bologna
This morning, leave Venice and Travel to Bologna. On arrival, take a guided tour of the historic centre visiting its medieval squares. In the afternoon, continue to your hotel in the Tuscan countryside.

Day 5: Tuscan Countryside
Spend today exploring the Tuscan countryside. Start the day with a visit to Volterra, home to outstanding museums housing Etruscan and Roman treasures. Enjoy a lunch in family-owned farmhouse.  Then, drive to San Gimignano, famous for its 14 medieval towers.

Day 6: Florence
Head to Florence this morning where you’ll have a guided walking tour. Visit the Douro and the Baptistry before exploring the goldsmiths’ shops on the Ponte Vecchio. Then, enjoy a free afternoon to explore at leisure or simply take in the atmosphere of the city

Day 7: Siena
After breakfast, drive to Siena for a guided tour. See its main square and cathedral before having free time in the city. Then, continue to Perugia where you’ll stay for 2 nights.

Day 8: Perugia
This morning, embark on a tour of this university city before having the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, dine at a restaurant known for its dishes involving truffle.

Day 9: Orvieto
This morning, explore Orvieto, known for its ancient ruins nestled in underground caves. The city, perched on volcanic rock, offers a glimpse of its subterranean splendour through the Well of the Cave, leading to nine caves beneath a pottery shop. After a scenic funicular ride to the old town, admire the Gothic cathedral’s intricate façade adorned with gilded frescoes. Then, you’ll head to Rome.

Day 10: Rome and Frascati
Spend the morning on a sightseeing tour of Rome, seeing the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and the Piazza Navona to name a few landmarks. Then enjoy some free time before visiting one of the most historic wine estates in Frascati for a tour and tasting.

Day 11: Free day in Rome
The whole of today is free for you to explore the city independently.

Day 12: Return home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home
