Day 1: Arrival in Milan
Fly from the UK to Milan, where you’ll stay for three nights. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel with the rest of the day at leisure

Day 2: Milan
Begin the day with a guided tour of the city, staring at its magnificent cathedral and the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele II. Other highlights of the tour are the La Scala theatre, one of the world’s most famous opera houses and the Sforzesco Castle. You’re then free to explore La Scala Museum at your own pace.
In 2027, after your tour of Milan, you’ll take a guided tour of Milan Duomo, with the afternoon free to visit La Scala and explore at leisure. 

Day 3: Free day in Milan
Today, you’re free to explore Milan at leisure.

Day 4: Monza
Leaving Milan, travel to the town of Monza, sitting in Europe’s largest walled park. There’s time to explore the town at leisure, perhaps visiting the gothic cathedral or exploring Monza Park, before you continue to Lake Como in the afternoon.

Day 5: Balbianello & Bellagio
This morning, take a private boat ride to the Villa del Balbianello, one of Lake Como’s finest. See its collection of art and historic furniture as well as the impressive gardens. Afterwards, the boat will take you to the elegant resort of Bellagio, where you’ll have the afternoon to explore at your own pace.

Day 6: The Bernina Express
After breakfast, travel though the Valtellina valley to Tirano, where you’ll board the famous Bernina Express; an alpine train that brings you through spirals and tunnels to Ospizio Bernina. Here you’ll get to experience stunning vista before descending to the resort of St Moritz in Switzerland. Spend some time at leisure here before returning to Lake Como

Day 7: Free day in Lake Como
Today, you’re free to explore more of the lake or simply relax in the hotel

Day 8: Lake Maggiore
Spend the day at Lake Maggiore, where you’ll visit the town of Stresa, here you’ll have free time to explore before heading to Isola Bella for a guided tour of its baroque palazzo and gardens.

Day 9: Lugano
Travel to Lugano in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino this morning. On arrival, take a ride on the Monte San Salvatore funicular up the mountain. At the top, enjoy 360° views. Spend as much time here as you like or return to Lugano to explore.

Day 10: Villa Carlotta
Today, head to the majestic Villa Carlotta to wander through the gardens and admire the interior, which houses superb artwork, sculptures and antique furniture.

Day 11: Return home
Transfer back to the airport for your flight home
