Day 1 – Arrival in Sorrento
Arrive at the airport for your flight to Naples. Transfer by coach to Sorrento and check into your hotel
Day 2 – Walk: Sorrento
Today, discover Sorrento’s legendary olive groves on one of two guided walks
Easy Walk (Green)
Starting in Annunziata, you’ll walk along tiny alleys and groves through the town of Massa Lubrense. Follow the winding path, enjoying views of the Bay of Naples before descending back into Sorrento

Distance: 5.3 miles
Altitude gain: 324 feet
Terrain: Stone paths, tarmac and gravel
Moderate Walk (Blue
From Termini, walk down to Annunziata before following the same route as the easy walk
Duration: 4 hours
Distance: 7.2 miles
Altitude gain: 577 feet
Terrain: Stone paths, tarmac and gravel
The rest of the day is at leisure
Day 3 – Capri
Take a short ride to discover the island of Capri. You have some time to explore the island, may join a boat trip or visit the famous Blue Grotto
Day 4 – Sorrento
Spend a day at leisure in Sorrento
Day 5 – Walk: The Path of Lemons
Today, experience the Amalfi Coast as you wind around the cliffs. Head to the village of Ravello where you’ll have some free time to explore before starting one of the two walks
Easy Walk (Green)
Leave Ravello and descend through narrow terraces. Follow the Path of the Lemons, which takes you past the orchards where the famed Amalfi lemons grow. Finish the walk in Maiori, a fishing town where you have some free time

Altitude gain: 422 feet
Terrain: Stone steps, pavement and gravel tracks
Moderate Walk (Blue)
After leaving Ravello, head through wooded hills before following the same route as the green walk.

Distance: 4.7 miles
Altitude gain: 819 feet
Terrain: Stone steps, tracks, country roads and gravel tracks
Day 6 – Pompeii & Farm Lunch
Visit Pompeii this morning and tour the site with a local guide. Later, visit a family owned, working farm and enjoy a lunch feature the farm’s own produce
Day 7 – Walk: Valle delle Farriere
Take the Amalfi Coast road to the Scala, where both the walks begin
Easy Walk (Green)
This walk begins in Munita, taking a staircase down to Pontone. From here, head through the Valle Delle Ferriere nature reserve, following the trails until you reach Amalfi.
Duration: 2.5 hours
Distance: 3 miles
Altitude gain: 255 feet
Terrain: Stone steps, tarmac and woodland paths
Moderate Walk (Blue)
this walk begins in Scala, entering the nature reserve and heading to Pontone, from where you’ll follow the same route as the easy walk.
Duration: 4 hours
Distance: 5 miles
Altitude gain: 984 feet
Terrain: Stone steps, tarmac, woodland paths
Both walks end in Amalfi where you’ll have free time to explore before returning to Sorrento
Day 8 – Return home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home

UK Citizens do not require a visa to enter Italy however must have a valid passport.
Walking equipment
Good quality walking shoes or boots are a must. Riviera also recommend a waterproof jacket, comfortable rucksack, hat, sunglasses, sun cream, water bottle and clothes that can be layered easily. Hiking poles are not necessary, but you may wish to take them.
Walking difficulty
There is often a choice between a ‘green’ and ‘blue’ option. A reasonable level of fitness is essential for all walks – while the green walk should suit most travellers, the blue option is perfect for those who prefer a bit more of a challenge.
Routes
While guides will always try to adhere to the route as advertised, they may be required to modify the itinerary due to local conditions. Our guides may also make minor changes to tailor the walk to the group.
