Day 1: Flight to Lisbon
On arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner on your first night.

Day 2: Lisbon
Embark on a half-day tour of Lisbon to capture some of the city’s highlights including Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, and cobbled streets of the old town. In the afternoon, explore the city independently before heading back to your hotel.

Day 3: Sintra
Immerse yourself in the wondrous beauty of the UNESCO-listed  parish of Sintra and Pena Palace, before a scheduled visit to a local bakery for a pastel de nata tart making instruction. The afternoon is free.

Day 4: Coimbra & Guimarães
The journey continues to Guimaraes where, on route, you’ll stop off at the charming town of Coimbra. While here, embark on a visit to Portugal’s oldest and most prestigious University, before enjoying an afternoon of free time. Afterwards, transfer to your next hotel.

Day 5: Porto
Today, you’ll be heading to Portugal’s second city – Porto, for a half-day tour of the city’s highlights. You’ll have have the opportunity to see key landmarks such as the Chapel of the Souls, São Bento Railway Station, and the UNESCO-listed waterfront in Ribeira, before exploring independently for the rest of the day.

A day of free time where you can choose to either return to Porto via train, or explore the city of Braga.

Day 7: Douro Valley
Commence a full day of exploration around the magnificent Douro Valley. Visit two wine estates for wine tasting and a farewell lunch. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat tour on the Douro.
