Day 5: Santo António da Serra

Feel free to enjoy a day of independent relaxation or exploration. Alternatively, head out on an optional cruise journey to spot elusive whales and other exciting marine life.

Day 6: Palheiro Gardens

Visit what is occasionally referred to as the ‘floating garden of the Atlantic’, Palheiro Gardens, and indulge in delicious tea and cake while on an included excursion.

Enjoy another free day where you will have the opportunity to join an optional excursion along the UNESCO-listed Fanal forest, which includes a sumptuous Espetada lunch.

Day 8: Fajã dos Padres – Funchal

Enjoy a guided visit to Fajã dos Padres organic farm, which also includes a tasting session where you’ll try a range of tropical fruits.

Embark on an immersive guided tour of the wonderful city of Funchal. This includes a visit to the Funchal Market Hall to taste the locally sourced fruits and vegetables, before enjoying an afternoon of free time.

Experience Monte’s amazing Botanical Gardens during day 13 after arriving via a cable car trip. Afterwards, enjoy an exciting Madeiran toboggan ride before returning to your hotel. Day 12 and day 14 are both free for you to explore independently.
