Day 1: UK – Porto – Guimarães/Amares

You will be collected from your home by Titan’s VIP door-to-door service for the flight to Porto. After arriving, transfer to the pousada in Guimarães.

Day 2: Guimarães – Braga

Kick start your Portuguese journey as you enjoy an included excursion to Guimaraes – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After this, visit the scenic city of Braga and enjoy a funicular ride to the Bom Jesus do Monte.

Day 3: Amarante – Vila Real – Peso da Régua

Commence the third day with a planned visit to see the charming city of Amarante, before travelling to the nearby Vila Real and Mateus Palace. While here, embark on an exploration of the stunning palace and idyllic gardens, prior to concluding the day after reaching Peso da Régua.

Day 4: Lamego

The journey continues to the Upper Douro Valley and the vibrant town of Lamego. Explore the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, sample some locally sourced ham, indulge in a wine tasting tour, and marvel at the impressive Vila do Pinhão train station.

Day 5: Coimbra

Arrive in Coimbra and take part in a guided tour of the city, which includes visits to the famous University, the chapel and baroque library, with there being an included traditional Fado performance in the evening.

Day 6: Candal

Immerse yourself in more of the local, Portuguese culture as you explore the collection of schist villages in Candal, and taste some of the local specialties on offer including freshly made bread and cheese.

Day 7: Batalha – Fátima – Tomar

Embark on a full day of exploration as you discover the UNESCO-listed Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, along with the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima and Aljustrel.

Day 8: Tomar

Enjoy a guided excursion to Tomar, which includes a visit to the UNESCO-listed Convent of Christ.

Day 9: Lisbon – Cascais

Experience the hustle and bustle of Portugal’s capital city as you take part in a guided city tour, which includes tasting of Pasteis de Nata and Ginjinha. In the afternoon, continue to the seaside town of Cascais for a two-night stay.

Day 10: Cascais

A day of free time to explore Cascais at you own leisure. Perhaps take the train through Estoril and back to Lisbon for some more sightseeing.

Day 11: Cascais – Lisbon – UK

Travel back to the airport for your flight to the UK. Titan’s VIP travel service will collect you and take you home after the arrival.
