Embark on a half-day walking tour of the vibrant capital of the Azores – Ponta Delgada.

A day of free time to spend as you please. Choose to simply relax at your hotel and soak up your calming surroundings, or join an optional half-day whale watching tour in the waters of São Miguel.

Day 4: Furnas Valley

The journey continues to the picturesque Furnas Valley, with a scheduled visit to see the idyllic Terra Nostra Garden. Following this, indulge in a delicious local Cozido lunch before heading back to the hotel.

Day 5: Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo

Before travelling to the twin lakes of Sete Cidades, enjoy a visit to a local pineapple plantation. Marvel at the striking beauty of these twin lakes, before visiting some of the most stunning viewpoints in the Azores including Lagoa do Fogo, Caldeira Velha and Ribeira Grand.

Day 6: Northeast São Miguel

Throughout today, explore the old fishing ports, quaint water mills and spectacular coastlines of the Northeast São Miguel region.

Day 7: São Miguel – Terceira – Angra do Heroísmo

Travel to the island of Terceira ahead of your four-night stay. Then, gain fascinating insights into the renaissance-era history of the UNESCO-listed city of Angra do Heroísmo, while on a guided walking tour.
