Day 1 Arrive Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, Embark Ship
Fly from the UK to Porto. On arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your ship. After settling in, you’ll meet your cruise director at a Welcome Reception.

Day 2 Régua, Lamego, Pinhão
Today, you’ll start cruising along the Douro. During the morning, you’ll join a Portuguese language lesson before the ship docks in Lamego. Here. head ashore and visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies or the museum. Continue to Pinhão where you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner at a local quinta, a Portuguese winery.

Day 3 Vega de Terrón, Castelo Rodrigo
Today the ship cruises over into Spain, where you’ll stop in Vega de Terrón. After some time at leisure, take a trip to Castel Rodrigo, where you’ll explore its well-preserved ruins and castle. Return to the ship.

Day 4 Salamanca, Barca d’Alva
Disembark and travel by coach to Salamanca, one of Spain’s most beautiful cities, famed for its golden sandstone buildings, grand plaza and ancient university. While here, get the chance to watch a flamenco show during lunch. After this, return to the ship in Barca d’Alva, then enjoy a traditional Portuguese barbecue dinner on board.

Day 5: Pinhão, Régua
Today you’ll visit the beautiful Mateus Palace and its gardens. Take a tour of the building before travelling to Régua where the ship is docked.

Day 6 Régua, Entre-os-Rios
This morning, visit a local quinta for the chance to take local port wine. Afterwards, sail to the town of Entre-os-Rios where you’ll have free time to explore independently.

Day 7: Porto
After breakfast, sail back to Porto. Here you’ll take a guided tour of the city’s iconic landmarks before visiting a winery for a tour and tasting. In the afternoon, you can explore the city at leisure or join the ‘Enhance your Journey’ experience*. In the evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner aboard the ship.

Day 8 Disembark Ship, Depart Porto
After enjoying a final breakfast on board, transfer to the airport in Porto for your flight home.
