As you journey around the island, you’ll uncover more of its hidden gems, such as the Valley of the Temples and the picture-perfect town of Taormina. This tour isn’t just about sightseeing, though – you’ll also enjoy wine from the slopes of Mount Etna, savor the rich flavours of Modica chocolate, and indulge in almond-infused pasticcini biscuits.
Day 1: To Sicily
Head to the airport and board your flight to Catania. On arrival, transfer to your hotel in Noto

Day 2: Syracuse and Ortygia
Today, head to the city of Syracuse. Here you’ll visit the island of Ortygia before hopping on a harbour cruise to view it from the sea. Then, visit the Syracuse Archaeological Park where you’ll explore the Greek and roman theatres with a guide. This afternoon is at leisure.

Day 3: Noto, Ragusa & Modica
Explore the baroque towns of Noto, Ragusa and Modica today. Stroll down the elegant Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Noto, admiring it palazzi and churches. In Ragusa, walk onto the real-life set of the TV series ‘Inspector Montalbano’. Finish the day in Modica, where you’ll taste artisan chocolate, made using an ancient Aztec method.

Day 4: Cefalu
Spend some time in the beautiful beach town of Cefalu before heading to Palermo

Day 5: Palermo & Monreale
This morning, take a guided tour of Palermo, visiting the Palatine Chapel and Cathedral. Then, travel to Monreale where you’ll see its stunning cathedral, famous for the Byzantine mosaics.

Day 6: Erice, Selinunte & Agrigento
Begin the day with a trip to Erice, where you’ll visit Maria Grammatico’s bakery to try her famous pasticcini. Then, travel past Trapani’s salt pans to Selinunte, where a guide will show you around this fascinating Greek archaeological site. In the evening, check into your hotel in Agrigento.

Day 7: Valley of the Temples & Piazza Armerina
Today, visit the Valley of Temples where a guide with take you around this collection of classical Greek temples. Later, have lunch as the private estate of Geracello before heading to Piazza Armerina. Here, take a guided tour of the impressive Roman Villa, famous for its floor mosaic. Continue onto Giardini Naxos on the coast.

Enjoy a walking tour of Taormina this morning before having the rest of the day at leisure.

This morning, drive to the slopes of Mount Etna, Europe’s largest volcano. After a short walk, you’ll have some free time to explore the area before visiting a local winery for a cellar visit and wine-paired lunch.
