Day 1: UK – Porto

Titan Travel’s VIP service will collect you from your home before the flight to Porto. Transfer to the first hotel on arrival.

Day 2: Porto

Start your exploration of Portugal and Spain with a full-day of sightseeing in the historic city of Porto. Soak up the incredible sighs and sounds as you embark on a walking tour of Porto’s historic centre, before sampling a wide selection of port wines while visiting the city’s oldest wine cellar during the afternoon.

Day 3: Regua – Pinhão

Enjoy a scenic drive during this morning as the journey continues to Regua in the Douro Valley, with there being an immersive winery tour and tasting experience after you arrive. Following this, travel to Pinhao for a Rabelo boat cruise on the Douro River.

Day 4: Coimbra – Lisbon

The next destination on your adventure is the historic city of Coimbra. While here, immerse yourself in the wonderful cathedrals and medieval buildings, as well as the UNESCO-listed University of Coimbra, while on a scheduled walking tour of this fine city.

Day 5: Lisbon

Gain intriguing insights into the history of one of the world’s oldest cities, while taking part in a guided tour around Lisbon and the Belem district. In the evening, look forward to a traditional Fado dinner show at a local restaurant.

A day of free time to spend at your own leisure. Why not head back into the city and explore independently, or join an optional excursion to royal Sintra for a cultural tour.

Day 7: Évora – Zafra

Explore the UNESCO-listed city of Evora during the morning, with stops at the region’s highlights including Évora Cathedral, the Temple of Diana and the many remnants of renaissance-era architecture. You will then travel to Zafra to commence your Spanish adventure.

Day 8: Mérida – Madrid

Marvel at the impressive Roman ruins of Merida upon visiting the city in the morning, which includes a stop off at a Roman Theatre. The journey then continues to Madrid ahead of a three-night stay.
