Day 1: Arrive in Brig
Fly to Zurich, Geneva or Basel. On arrival,  transfer to the town of Brig, and check into your hotel.

Day 2: Zermatt & the Matterhorn
Drive through alpine scenery to arrive at Zermatt, nestled at the foot of the Matterhorn. Spend some time in Zermatt, either exploring the area using the footpaths or relaxing in a cafe. If you wish, you may take the cog railway up to Gornergrat. This can be arranged locally with your Tour Manager.

Day 3: Lake Maggiore
Travel over the Simplon Pass to the warm sunshine of Italy and the shores of Lake Maggiore. Arriving in the town of Stresa, you’ll have some free time to wander through its cobbled streets.

Later, cruise to Isola Bella where you’ll tour its Palazzo and gardens. Enjoy an included dinner at a local restaurant (2026 only)

Day 4: Montreux
Venture to Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva, where you’ll have a full day at leisure to explore the lake and its surroundings. Perhaps enjoy lunch onboard one of the beautiful paddle steamers that cruise across the lake. Or, visit the famous Chateau de Chillon just outside the town. Alternatively, you can stay in Brig and make use of the many footpaths to explore.

Day 5: The Glacier Express
Spend 4 hours aboard the Glacier Express, taking your through stunning scenery, which can be enjoyed out of the large panoramic windows. In the afternoon, arrive in Chur, where you transfer to Klosters, a charming ski resort, where you’ll stay for the next three nights

Day 6: Klosters
Enjoy a free day in Klosters, making use of discounted access via cable cars and chair lifts to the surrounding mountains, as well as free journeys on the local trains.

Day 7: The Bernina Express
Tale the famous Bernina Express to Tirano in Italy. You’ll be surrounded by snow-clad peaks and glacial lakes before passing through green pastures and forests to Tirano. Upon arrival, enjoy some free time before boarding a coach back to Klosters.

Day 8: Return to UK
Transfer back to the airport or train station for your return journey to the UK
