8-day itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Budapest

Following your arrival in Budapest, transfer via coach to luxury cruise ship, with the remainder of the day free for you to familiarise yourself with your home for the next seven nights.

Day 2: Esztergom

Commence your adventures in Hungary as you commence the day in Esztergom – one of the oldest cities in the country. Visit the iconic basilica whilst on a guided tour of the city, along with many other historic gems during day two.

Day 3: Bratislava

Immerse yourself in the wonders of Slovakia’s capital city while on a guided tour of the city’s highlights. You’ll be able to see the beautiful classicist buildings in the old town, before enjoying a classical music performance during the afternoon.

Day 4: Dürnstein & Melk

The journey continues to Dürnstein for a guided walking tour, which includes a visit to the iconic Melk Abbey. Gain fascinating insights into the area’s extensive history while on a full day of exploration here.

Day 5: Salzburg

Explore Salzburg’s UNESCO-listed old town and learn about Mozart’s relationship with the city as you embark on a scheduled tour, with there also being an included classical piano concert during the afternoon. Following this performance, head back to your cruise ship and prepare yourself for the adventures in Vienna.

Day 6: Vienna

Soak up Vienna’s rich cultural history and visit the Vienna Boys Choir for a live classical recital during day 6.

Day 7: Budapest

During the penultimate day of your holiday, you’ll have the option of visiting either Budapest’s House of Music or the Museum of Fine Arts on panoramic guided tours.

Day 8: Return home

Head back to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
