Day 1: Arrival in Budapest
Travel to Budapest and on arrival transfer to your river cruise ship. Settle into your cabin before dinner, which you’ll enjoy as the ship sails away towards Budapest

Day 2: Bratislava on New Year’s Eve
Enjoy a relaxing morning on board as you sail towards Bratislava. After lunch, head ashore to explore Bratislava on a guided tour. Afterwards, take some time to explore independently. Back onboard the ship this evening, sit down for a superb New Year’s Eve dinner before a delightful classical recital. At midnight, toast to the New Year with a glass of sparkling wine.

Day 3: Vienna on New Year’s Day
Start the day with a leisurely brunch as the ship makes its way to Vienna. On arrival, join a local guide for a tour of the city to see its sights. Then make the most of some free time before heading back to the ship for dinner.

Day 4: Schönbrunn Palace
Today, you get the chance to visit the beautiful Schönbrunn Palace, once the summer residence of the Habsburgs. Entrance is included as is an audio guide the dazzling rooms inside. Take some time to browse the festive market stalls it houses at this time of the year. Leaving Vienna after lunch, settle in for a relaxing afternoon of sailing.

Day 5: Budapest
Enjoy a guided tour of Budapest today, visiting Castle Hill where you’ll find serval museums and great views of the Parliament over the river. After lunch on the ship, the afternoon is free to spend as you wish, potentially head back out to explore independently. End the day today with a lively Hungarian folklore show onboard the ship.

Day 6: Return home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your journey home.
