Day 1: UK – Porto – Santo Tirso

Before your flight to Porto, Titan Travel’s door-to-door service will collect you and take you to the airport. Once you have arrived, transfer to your hotel in Santo Tirso.

Day 2: Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia

Discover Porto’s hidden gems while on a guided tour of the ‘Golden City’, with the opportunity to see some of the region’s highlights including UNESCO-listed Ribeira, the riverfront historic quarter and the city’s impressive cathedral. In the afternoon, visit an authentic wine cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Day 3: Amarante – Lamego – Tabuaço

Visit the historic town of Quinta da Aveleda, known for its substantial production of wine, before heading to Amarente to gain fascinating insights into the region’s extensive history. During the afternoon, stop off for a guided walk in the medieval town of Lamengo, before continuing to the secluded village of Tabuaco where you’ll check into  your hotel.

Day 4: Douro River Cruise – Pinhão

The journey continue to Pinhao, where you’ll be boarding your included river cruise around the stunning Douro region. During the afternoon, indulge in an excellent wine tasting experience in Quinta de São Luiz.

Day 5: Régua – Pocinho – Carvalhal

See more of the Douro Valley as you embark on a train journey through Regua, before stopping off in Pocinho and travelling through the charming medieval villages of Carvalhal.

Day 6: Carvalhal

Day of free time. Choose to either relax and spend the day at your own leisure, or join an optional tour around the scenic town of Viseu.
