8-day itinerary

Day 1: Cologne arrival

Commence your exploration of Germany and France via the Rhine river as you board your cruise ship in one of the nation’s oldest cities – Cologne.

Day 2: Koblenz & Sayn Butterfly Park

Embark on a guided walking tour around the city of Koblenz during the first full-day of your adventure, which also includes a visit to Schlosspark. Following this, soak up the tropical paradise of Sayn Butterfly Park while on a scheduled visit, before enjoying a live folk music performance back onboard the ship.

Day 3: Boppard & Rhine Gorge

The journey continues to ‘The Pearl of the Rhine’ – Boppard during today, for a guided tour of the, which includes a chairlift ride to Gedeon’s Corner. Afterwards, enjoy the surrounding scenery as you sail through Rhine Gorge.

Day 4: Heidelberg Castle & Schwetzingen Palace Gardens

Discover the wonders of Heidelberg as you take part in a guided tour of the city and its Castle, before heading to Schwetzingen for a tour of Schwetzingen Palace Gardens.

Day 5: Strasbourg & Saverne Rose Garden

After crossing the French border you’ll arrive in Strasbourg by breakfast on day 5. While here, immerse yourself in the region’s storied history on a guided city tour, ahead of a scheduled visit to Rose Garden of Saverne. In the evening, return to the ship and enjoy a live music performance during dinner.

Day 6: Rüdesheim

Spend a leisurely morning relaxing onboard your luxury cruise ship as you serenely sail towards Rüdesheim. After arriving here, board the Winzerexpress road train for a whistlestop tour of the city.

Day 7: Rhine Gorge & Bonn

Enjoy another morning of sailing before travelling to Bonn for a tour of Rheinaue Leisure Park.

Day 8: Return home
