Wander through vineyard-clad hills and picturesque towns with timbered houses as you explore the highlights of the Rhine and Moselle regions. Along the way, enjoy authentic local flavours — from the celebrated wines of Koblenz and the Moselle to Cologne’s crisp beer, smooth chocolate, and a delicious array of German specialities.
Day 1: Arrival in Cologne
Travel to Cologne by plane or train and transfer to your ship.
Day 2: Cochem
Spend the morning sailing along the Rhine and Moselle. For lunch onboard, enjoy a delicious buffet of German cuisine, giving you the chance to try some local favourites such as lye bread, leberkäse, sauerkraut and much more. Arrive in Cochem where you’ll have a guided tour, before some free time. In the evening, enjoy a live performance of Rhenish folk music.
Day 3: Trier
The journey continues upstream along the Moselle River, with the morning being free for you to immerse yourself in the passing scenery. After a spot of lunch, the cruise ship will moor at Trier for a guided tour around the ancient city’s highlights.
Day 4: Bernkastel
After breakfast, take part in a guided walking tour around Bernkastel, which includes a wine tasting experience at a local cellar. The afternoon is free for you to take advantage of the excellent facilities onboard your cruise ship, as you sail towards Koblenz.
Day 5: Koblenz
Gain intriguing insights into Koblenz’s extensive wine-making heritage as you explore the Koblenz Wine and Sparkling Wine Museum independently, which includes a tasting experience. After enjoying some lunch back on the ship, you’ll then travel to Boppard for another guided tour.
Day 6: Rhine Gorge & Rüdesheim
Soak up the majestic surroundings as you sail through Rhine Gorge in the morning while travelling to Rüdesheim. You’ll enjoy an immersive Rüdesheimer coffee making presentation, before disembarking the ship and heading to a local winery for a wine tasting experience. Finish the day with the ‘Chef’s dinner’.
Day 7: Cologne
After leaving Rudesheim behind, the journey continues to Cologne for the final day of your adventure. While here, you can choose to take part in a guided tour and tasting experience around either the Lindt Chocolate Museum or the beer culture of Cologne. Afterwards, head back to the ship for a final evening of entertainment, including a classical music performance.
Day 8: Return home
Travel back to the airport for your return UK flight.
