Day 1: Arrive in Paris
Travel to Paris, either by plane or Eurostar. On arrival, transfer to your river cruise ship. The rest of the day is at leisure to settle into your cabin before dinner.

Day 2: Vernon
Enjoy a morning of cruising, during which you can relax in the lounge or on the sun deck and take in the views. The ship arrives in Vernon during lunch, so this afternoon, you’ll head ashore to travel to Bizy Castle, where you’ll take a guided tour and enjoy a dance demonstration. Later, there’s time to wander through the gardens before returning to Vernon for a guided tour before some free time.

Day 3: Rouen
Having sailed overnight, you’ll awake in the city of Rouen. On a guided tour, visit the magnificent Gothic cathedral, featured in some of Claude Monet’s remarkable paintings. Wander through the maze like streets before arriving in Place du Vieux-Marche, where a cross commemorates the spot where Joan of Arc was executed. Return to the ship for lunch as it sails away from Rouen, back down the Seine. This evening, you’ll get the chance to spot the village of La Roche-Guyon, whose fortress overlooks the river. Enjoy the special Chef’s Dinner

Day 4: Paris
Spend the morning sailing back into Paris. On arrival, you can choose between a panoramic coach tour, or a guided walking tour. On the panoramic coach tour, you’ll see the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, the Trocadero and numerous other sites.

The walking tour covers around 2.5 miles, beginning in Places des Vosges, passing Hotel de Ville, crossing the Ile de la Cite, where you’ll see Notre-Dame Cathedral before continuing to the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens.

Return to the ship for dinner, after which you’ll enjoy a performance by an accordionist.

Day 5: Return home
After breakfast, you’ll transfer to the airport or train station for your return journey
