Explore the medieval citadel and the Tower of David Museum. Walk across the old city ramparts before continuing to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where you’ll have exclusive access to the rooftop Ethiopian monastery. Later on, walk to the Damascus Gate and tour the Garden Tour. After lunch, take a short drive to Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity. End the day with a visit to winery and enjoy a selection of local vintages.

Start the day at the Mount of Olives, before visiting the Church of St Mary Magdalene. Continue to the Church of All Nations. Enter the old city walls from Lion’s Gate, followed by a walk to Herod’s Gate. Continue to St Anne monastery, the Monastery of the Flagellation, and Ecce Homo Arch. Enter the Temple Mount (subject to the discretion of local officials). Here, observe the Dome of the Rock and the Dome of the Chain before finally visiting the Marwani Musalla and Al-Aqsa mosque from the outside.

Begin the day at Mount Zion before continuing to the Jewish quarter. Here you’ll see the Hurva synagogue and the Broad Wall. Then, visit the Wohl Archaeological Musuem vis Batei Makhase Square. See the crusader walls of St Mary of the Germans, followed by a visit to the Western Wall. Here, you’ll explore the Western Wall tunnel before visiting the Davidson Centre.

Drive to Herodion and view the palace and tomb of King Herod. Drive to Jericho, and visit Hisham’s Palace, an early Islamic hunting lodge. Then visit the Monastery of the Temptation.

Explore the new city with visits to the Israel Museum and the Rockfeller Museum, where you can see its collection of the Dead Sea Scrolls. In the afternoon, visit Jerusalem’s YMCA, one of the city’s most celebrated landmarks. Finish the day with an evening farewell dinner.
